Greetings from Lithuania.

What a haunting ending i just saw in "Rectify" episode 6 of season 2. Music and the whole feeling was just so... haunting. I highly enjoyed this episode, as well as the whole show so far. Although this is drama written all over it, there so much going on, and when it is done that good, every singly conversation, even seemingly the most meaningful one delivers good.

Overall, "Mazel Tov" is another good entry into a great season 2 so far. Witting, directing, acting is top notch and with this story which you can simply put it down, i can't wait to see the upcoming episodes.

To Know One

Warning: Spoilers
Daniel's meet w/ Lezly and his interactions with Charlie the Chaplain -- both really good by allowing the viewer to get to know Daniel better. The character Daniel is stunning, if I may say -- or at least the writing of it/him; and Aden's portrayal is other-worldly almost, certainly masterful. The lovely connection Daniel has with Tawney is so delicate and true.

I growled, though, at the Sheriff's betrayal of Ted Jr by telling Foulkes about what he promised to not tell. Brings about a tension, conflict, keeps the 'bad guy' (Foulkes) in the picture and used as a mechanism to elongates the tale which is overly obvious. SIGH.

The near-final moment when Daniel's hand reaches to the music box . . . Wow, just wow. And then his 'hearing' Hannah call to him -- the last "deepening" he had, so to speak -- just brilliant storytelling.
