I know, I know. The last think you want is yet another zombie story but this one, I promise, is different. After all, how often do you see a zombie movie that's kid friendly?
Admittedly John Kim's Calarts grad film Steadfast Stanley isn't really appropriate for the very young, there are still zombies tying to eat humans and severed body parts that move on their own, but the story takes a decidedly different, not to mention unexpected, approach that shifts the focus so that the story is as much about a boy and his dog as it is about zombies. It works on a couple of levels and all of them pretty awesome.
It's a great little primer for Halloween!
