A Bad Case of Wacky Tobacky

When a legal marijuana shop is robbed, a woman delivers a message and is shot and killed. There is a ransom note from someone threatening to kill the man's family. The deal is that there seems to be no place to begin looking. But some obscure clues begin to display themselves. Sometimes I wish the hard work these guys do would end up in a more conventional conclusion. See what you think.

The Mastermind

A woman enters the medical marijuana store owned by Lloyd Bryant and asks him to answer his cell phone that is ringing. He sees a video with his wife and two children in a hostage situation and the woman asks him to put the money in the cash register inside a bag. When she is leaving the store, she accidentally breaks a jar with marijuana and the security guard points a gun to her and shots when she puts her hand in the back pocket of her trouser to take a pair of classes. The CSIs confirm the kidnapping and process the store, but the unknown woman is not identified. After the autopsy, they identify her as Allison Ball, who is a respected teacher and was with cancer. When Greg finds her cell phone, he sees in a video that her brother Stuart was kidnapped, and she was forced to heist Lloyd's store. They conclude that the cases are entwined and proceed the investigation.

"Buzz Kill" is an episode of "CSI" related to legal marijuana store for medical purpose. The store operates with cash only, and Det. Crawford tells Nick and Sara that banks do not accept marijuana business money since they are afraid of being apprehended as drug money. The plot, as usual, twists but the conclusion surprises this time when the identity of the mastermind is disclosed. My vote is seven.
