Greetings from Lithuania.

"Ray Donovan: Rodef (#2.11)" (2014) is another great episode of this superb show. Steph DuVall as "Shorty" steals every scene he is in, it wouldn't be fair if this actor would be nominated for Emmy as the best quest star.

Writing is superb, acting / directing are top notch as usual. The stakes are high as they ever been, and everything will come together on the next week in the last (sadly) episode of season 2.

Overall, 10/10 of for this episode - unexpected, very intense and griping as usual, absolutely must watch.

Warning: Spoilers
I was shocked when I realized that the dowdy, overweight housewife character, wife to the murderous FBI SAC, played by Hank Azaria, is actually Sherilyn Fenn, the former svelte, sexy look alike to Lara Flynn Boyle. This is partly due to makeup, I suppose, but she has pretty well ruined her figure for this role. I thought at first that I was seeing a badly aged version of Lara Flynn Boyle, so I looked at the cast&crew page. It wasn't really a relief to find that I was seeing a badly aged version of the lovely Sherilyn Fenn.

The story in this episode moves into a depressing place, with Mickey's hare-brained scheme dooming several other characters to consequences that only Mickey deserves. Abby has become an imbecile. Before the past two episodes she had been a likable character, but no more. She's now just a female version of Ray: self absorbed and thoughtless.

It's a good thing that there are still a few likable characters in the script, because Ray, Abby and Ezra have joined Mickey, Lee and Stu in the club of insufferable people.
