- Cathy has information leading to a suspect in her abduction, but later tells Dinah there was also an accomplice. A badly beaten man is found outside a scrap yard and appears to be connected with a man police find locked in a shed.
- Cathy's description of the attacker's tattoo incriminates Patrick Llewellyn, who is fatally injured in a car chase, owning to being Handyman before he dies though Dinah is sceptical. The police also find the badly beaten body of Kieran Riley, who works for disreputable scrap dealer Shane Mercy. Investigating his yard Joy and Spike find illegal immigrant Ajamu, who is initially too scared to make a statement but whose eventual confession leads to an arrest. Meanwhile Cathy tells Dinah she believes her abductor had an accomplice and evidence leads Dinah and Viv to suspect that it is a police officer.—don @ minifie-1
- Cathy's description of her attacker's tattoo leads officers to search their tattoo database and locate a suspect. When the police end up in a high speed chase with the suspect, he is involved in a very serious accident, but Viv records a dying declaration. During the chase of the Handyman, police come upon a badly beaten man just outside the fence of Shane Mercy, a scrap dealer. While investigating Shane's scrap yard, a terrified man is discovered locked away in a shed. Even though the man, Ajamu, denies knowing the gravely injured man found outside the scrap yard and claims that he wanted Shane to lock him in the shed, officers find his statements difficult to believe and continue investigating both incidents until they are able to close the cases. When Cathy tells Dinah that she is certain her abductor had an accomplice, Viv and Dinah find evidence to support that theory, but because the identity of the suspect is so shocking, they attempt to continue their investigation secretly.—Shauna Russ
