Amid the endless excitement surrounding Taylor Swift's rereleased albums, "1989 (Taylor's Version)" emerged as a focal point of anticipation for fans, as the 2014 album is widely regarded as Swift's most celebrated. The original "1989" album earned 10 Grammy nominations and secured three wins, including album of the year.
Staying true to her pattern of revisiting her past work, Swift included "From the Vault" tracks on "1989 (Taylor's Version)" - unreleased gems from the album's initial creation that didn't make the final cut. The response to the five vault tracks on her latest album has been overwhelmingly positive, with some fans even declaring these new additions as their favorites.
Swift teased the titles of the vault tracks months before the album's release, and fans were especially fascinated by the track titled "Slut!" Swifties eagerly speculated about the song's theme, believing it might address the media's scrutiny of Swift's love life during the period of its release.

There’s a point midway through When Harry Met Sally when the two leads, both unable to sleep, find themselves on the phone. The actual conversation isn’t about much of anything — past relationships, what’s on TV, the ending of Casablanca. But what comes through loud and clear is the connection between them, so easy and comfortable that any fool can see they’re meant to be together.
Apple TV+’s Still Up is a whole series of When Harry Met Sally phone calls, placed between insomniac besties Lisa (Antonia Thomas) and Danny (Craig Roberts). Like their big-screen forebears, they fancy themselves “just mates”; like them, it’s evident to nearly everyone around them, us included, that they’re destined for romance. All that’s missing, alas, is When Harry Met Sally‘s most crucial ingredient: the magical chemistry to make us root for them to get there against all odds.

No Spaced. No The League of Gentlemen. No Smack the Pony or Goodness Gracious Me or The Royle Family or Brass Eye, or Red Dwarf or Father Ted or anything that belongs to the last century (side note: the late 90s were an incredible time for UK comedy). What’s cheering about this lot, apart from the fact that as comedies, they should all technically cheer us up, is how different they are. There’s the surreal chaos of Year of the Rabbit, and the sweet warmth of Lovesick, the Pythonesque bonkersness of Yonderland, the satirical might of The Thick of It and much more. Something for everyone, you might say.

Exclusive: Actors Mark McKinney and Daniel Ings have signed on to star in the comedy road movie A Rush of Blood.
We understand British filmmaker Tristan Shepherd will direct the pic from a screenplay he also wrote. Billed as a “comedy, thriller, road trip movie,” the plot follows a British-Canadian couple, who get their last shot at fulfilling their professional ambitions — and any hope of reinvigorating their marriage — when their independent film is selected for Sundance. However, when they accept a ride to Park City with Reegan, a young, self-styled film reporter, who becomes increasingly maniacal as the journey unfolds, their dream slowly turns into a nightmare – more frightening than any film plot they could have ever devised. McKinney will play a character named Larry, while Ings will suit up as a character named Brian.

For two seasons now, housewife Billie (Sarah Shahi) has been slowly losing the life she once knew in favor of chasing the high of her sexually adventurous youth. In Netflix's "Sex/Life," Billie finds herself torn between her reliable husband Cooper (Mike Vogel), and Brad (Adam Demos), the hunky Australian ex who wanders back into her life. Later, when the romantic house of cards she's built tumbles down completely, she ends up hooked on a new man, restaurant owner Majid (Darius Homayoun). "Sex/Life" definitely isn't Netflix's best show, but plenty of fans still like the "Sex and The City"-style series because it's a reliably steamy adult-oriented romance.
Apparently, though, Billie's wild ride has come to an end. Variety is reporting that the Stacy Rukeyser-created show "Sex/Life" has been canceled after just two seasons. Luckily, though, the show actually wrapped up most of its major plotlines in its latest season finale.

Agatha Christie, the “Queen of Crime”, whose novels are still adapted for the screen with machine-like regularity, knew that the question in the title of her 1934 mystery Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? was too good to pass up. “You don’t know yet who Evans is going to be... Evans will come in due course,” she once wrote. “The title is fixed.” Well, after a century of intriguing readers, that central proposition is now being brought to television viewers in the form of a three-part Britbox series, starring, written and directed by Hugh Laurie.
Narnia’s Will Poulter steps into the Christieverse as Bobby Jones, a happy-go-lucky vicar’s son who finds a dying man during a round of golf. “Why didn’t they ask Evans?” the man splutters with his final breath and Bobby is thrust on the trail of murderers, kidnappers and dope fiends. He’s ably...

Don Toliver albums are not what you would call “textually rich.” For stretches, they can seem almost ambient: all purple neon, Xannied-out synthesizers, a never ending montage of nightclubs and bedrooms and cash registers. What sticks out is the timbre of the R&b-trap singer’s voice, which can be a remarkable instrument, capable of conveying immense pathos even (and perhaps especially) when he is not saying much at all. Because of the richness of his voice, there’s always been a sense, on previous LPs, of something being held back.

A Patricia Highsmith adaptation with a talented cast that has yet to air on Showtime just moved to Netflix, according to Deadline. This is great news for viewers who will get to see the thriller series "Ripley," which features "Fleabag" and "His Dark Materials" actor Andrew Scott, "Lovesick" and "Emma." star Johnny Flynn, and "The First Lady" alum Dakota Fanning.
The project comes from "The Night Of" co-creator Steven Zaillian and is an adaptation of Highsmith's novel, "The Talented Mr. Ripley." The move is also great news for TV fans in general, as it's proof positive that even in a time of economic uncertainty, it's possible for streamers and cablers to move their projects elsewhere -- as opposed to cancelling them completely before they even see the light of day.

Most editions of Bob Dylan’s three-decades-and-running Bootleg Series focus on a particular phase of his career, but a few have zoomed in on the making of an especially hallowed record. As its title makes clear, that’s the case with Fragments—Time Out of Mind Sessions (1996-1997), the 17th volume in the series. That one album is blown out into a five-disc package, which includes two full sets of unissued outtakes and another of live recordings from the Dylan-comes-alive tours that followed in the record’s wake.

People say never to judge a book by its cover, but when it comes to TV shows, sometimes it's just as important not to judge them by their titles. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," for example, doesn't exactly sound like the groundbreaking and celebrated hero's journey that it is. Other shows like "Selfie," "Cougar Town," and the eventually mercifully renamed "Scrotal Recall" (it's called "Lovesick" now) are also way better than their titles would lead one to believe.
The same is true of 2012's short-lived ABC comedy "Don't Trust the B----- in Apartment 23," an outrageous, surreal, fast-paced sitcom starring Krysten Ritter, Dreama Walker, James Van Der Beek, and Eric Andre. Whereas some other titles oversell the wackier aspects of the shows in question, though, "Don't Trust the B" simply can't be tamed or contained by something as simple as a title.
