It was the 90s and we were all captivated by Sugar Ray and more specifically Mark McGrath. This video is so simple and yet so perfect with the black and white and just Mark.

Sugar Ray's Someday, released in 1999 was a song for the times and pretty much the zeitgeist of the end of the decade and the millennium, and the opportunity to reflect, ponder, and wonder about friends and family past and opportunities gained and list. The Someday video was directed by legendary music video director Joseph Kahn, and it's such a beautiful song and video. There's so much meaning to this and it's hard to believe Someday was released 25 years ago, yes a quarter-of-a-century ago, yet it's timeless and sublime and iconic and makes you thankful for what you have now in the moment init.
