After 3Peck0 (Archibald Peck (R.D. Evans) and 3.0 ["Big Magic" Shane Matthews (Matt Menard) and Scott Parker (Jeff Parker)]) defeated Die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (Ares (Marco Jaggi), Nøkken and Dr. Cube), Ares and Cube started arguing. Nøkken blocked Ares from punching Cube and gave him a sit-out reverse piledriver. Cube removed his mask to reveal Jakob Hammermeier, who had last been seen as himself at Chikara Aniversario: Never Compromise (2013) on June 2, 2013, which was the night of the shutdown. Jakob then revealed that he held the Eye of Tyr, which Delirious had smashed at the start of the 2012 Season Premiere Chikara: The Thirteenth Hat (2012) on January 28, 2012, and that he was controlling Nøkken with it. Jakob said that the last time the fans had seen him he was suffering from multiple disappointments and that it was now time for Ares to face reality, which was that Ares was the real disappointment. Jakob said that he made a deal with some devils, though not explaining who those devils were or what the deal involved. Jakob thus became the new leader of the BDK, a role he maintains until the group finally broke up once and for all in 2016, and Ares has not returned to CHIKARA since.
The team of Icarus (Ronald Grams) and the Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield and "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti) is called the Golden Trio because, at the time, Icarus was the CHIKARA Grand Champion and the Throwbacks were the CHIKARA Campeones de Parejas (Tag Team Champions), meaning they held all the gold in CHIKARA.
The match between the Spirit Squad (Kenny (Ken Doane), Johnny (Johnny Jeter) and Mikey (Mike Brendli)) and the Odditorium (Nicholas Cvjetkovich, Qefka the Quiet and Sir Oliver Grimsley (James Pash)), which the Squad won, was the last appearance of the Odditorium, as Sinn and Qefka left immediately after. Grimsley stuck around long enough to be part of the Flood Squad in the CHIKARA-Flood Torneo Cibernetico match at the 2014 Season Finale iPPV Chikara: Tomorrow Never Dies (2014) on December 6th, and left after that.
CHIKARA debuts for Damian Dunne and Pete Dunne of Team UK (Mark Andrews had debuted in 2011), Princess Kimberlee, the Spirit Squad, Thunderkitty (the Jervis Cottonbelly character goes back to 2005, and Marion Fontaine (Justin Nottke) debuted in 2011), and Chavo Guerrero Jr. (Chavo Guerrero Jr.) and Hernandez (Shawn Hernandez) of the Latin American Exchange (Homicide (Nelson Erazo) debuted in 2010).
GEKIDO (17 and Pieces of Hate [Jigsaw (Ed McGuckin) and the Shard (John Silver)) defeated Princess Kimberlee (Kimberly Frankele and Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy (Lance Steel and Jolly Roger (Christopher McGuckin)). After the match, Jolly Roger told Jigsaw (who is Jolly Roger's brother) that he was not his brother.
