Hunter Hearst Helmsley Vs Ahmed Johnson
Ahmed wins clean with the Pearl River Plunge. It's shocking to ever see Triple H get pinned clean in the middle of the ring. These two produced an average match that was neither good nor bad.
**
Dok Hendrix interviews Ahmed after the match. Ahmed says he's proud of being the first African-American champion in the WWF. He's gonna defend this belt for the people, and says if "sweet lips" (Goldust) wants a rematch, he can have one.
The Bodydonnas (W/Cloudy) Vs The Brooklyn Brawler & Jerry Fox
The Bodydonnas win. I was more interested in listening and looking at Sunny than the match itself. Cloudy was some male, dressed up as a woman to replace Sunny. It wasn't very funny.
3/4*
We get an awesome video package of the history between Shawn Michaels and Marty Janetty. They face each other next week on Raw.
Savio Vega, Barry Horrowitz & Aldo Montoya Vs Vader, The British Bulldog & Owen Hart (W/Jim Cornette & Diana Hart Smith)
The heels win after Owen makes Montoya submit with the Sharpshooter. The only legitimate threat on the faces side was Savio Vega. Both Montoya and Horrowitz were enhancement talents. Therefore, this was a glorified squash.
*1/4
Brian Pillman comes out on crutches and demands more money. Vince McMahon doesn't even give him an answer.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin Vs The Undertaker (W/Paul Bearer)
Undertaker has the match won with the Tombstone, but Goldust throws glitter in The Undertaker's eyes to cause the DQ. It's interesting to watch these two since Austin hadn't reached the heights he was going to as of yet. They didn't have the chemistry down pat yet and it showed. It's a watchable match but nothing outstanding what so ever.
