Quotes

  • Olivia Benson : [Last lines]

Olivia Benson : I wish I could've seen more of your city.

Hank Voight : It's... It's beautiful. Even when it isn't.

[Benson and Voight toast their glasses]

  • Olivia Benson : [walks in on Voight beating up a perp in the cage]  Hank.

Hank Voight : Why don't you head back upstairs?

Olivia Benson : I need to talk to you.

Hank Voight : [steps out of cage]  Look, I am glad you made the trip but I'm afraid I'm gonna to have to cut it short.

Olivia Benson : You can't put your hands on that guy.

Hank Voight : As far as you know, I never did.

Olivia Benson : Let me explain something to you, if this was a Chicago-only case? This is your city you do what you want.

    Hank Voight : Listen.

Olivia Benson : No, I'm not done yet. I have cases in New York that I want to close. I have perps I want to put away. There is peace of mind I want to bring to families, okay? You go off on him and it gets out, then my cases go down the toilet. I'm asking you. Do not do that to me.

Hank Voight : What about Chris Sepka's peace of mind? That little boy is out there right now. He doesn't have a lot of time.

Olivia Benson : Five minutes. I'm asking you for five minutes.

  • Jay Halstead : Welcome to Chicago, Sergeant.

Olivia Benson : [shakes Halstead's hand]  Thank you, Detective. Good to see you.

Jay Halstead : Yeah, you too.

Kevin Atwater : [to Benson, shakes her hand]  Nice to meet you.

Olivia Benson : Nice to meet you.

Adam Ruzek : [shakes Benson's hand]  I've heard great things about you.

Olivia Benson : About you as well.

    [to Rollins and Amaro]

Olivia Benson : Hey. So, that must be Amy.

    Jay Halstead : Yeah.

Olivia Benson : Who owned the house that she was found in?

Jay Halstead : An old timer in St. Louis. It turns out Andrew Lewellen, from the hospital, he was paying rent in cash once a year for the last five years. No telling how many more stash houses could be in the city.

Olivia Benson : Okay. She give you anything else?

Alvin Olinsky : No. In terms of what she went through in that house... She didn't say and we haven't asked... Yet.

Olivia Benson : Anything from the missing boy?

Nick Amaro : Well, we're working on it.

    [Benson walks over to Voight]

    Olivia Benson : Hey.

Hank Voight : [they shake hands]  Hey. I'm glad you're here.

Olivia Benson : [Benson follows Voight into his office]  I wish it were under better circumstances

Hank Voight : Well, it's the life we chose, I guess.

Olivia Benson : That is correct.

  • Hank Voight : [to Benson]  Five minutes.

Olivia Benson : [to VanCamp]  I'm a seargant from New York and I've... .Dealt with some of the victims that you helped funnel over there.

Bill Van Camp : I don't know what you're talking about.

Olivia Benson : Just listen to me. You heard the man, we don't have a lot of time. I'm not an expert on many things. But, when it comes to these kinds of crimes, unfortunately, I am. And there's one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty, when it comes to kids, offenders who kept their mouths shut or had their lawyers handle it... I would see them years later in prison. And they were zombies. Eaten alive from the inside out. Because... Because they had a chance to do something right, even after all the bad they did, but they looked the other way. And when they did, they just snuffed out their own lives in the process. I know, deep down, there's... There's still a human being in there. And I need you to access it. I need you to fight for it. I need you to bring it up to the surface. Because as crazy as this sounds, you still have a life to live. You've got what? Another... Thirty, forty years, maybe? I'm telling you the ones who did the right thing, as hard it was to admit their involvement... They still sleep at night in prison. They still feel the sun on their face. You have that chance right now. Tell me where Chris Sepka is.

  • Hank Voight : They're taking the case away from me.

    Olivia Benson : When?

Hank Voight : End of shift.

Olivia Benson : You could've told me that before I flew all the way out here.

Hank Voight : And miss that smiling face?

Olivia Benson : [chuckles]  We could've Skyped.

Hank Voight : We're close to solving this. I know it.

Olivia Benson : When are you expecting the forensic results?

Hank Voight : Already got 'em.

Olivia Benson : That was fast.

Hank Voight : Yeah, I know a guy.

Olivia Benson : So, do you have anything connecting all three crime scenes?

Hank Voight : Just Ledbetter. He's no longer with us.

Olivia Benson : Okay. Then we start from the start.
