The fourth week of home entertainment releases in January doesn’t offer up a ton of titles, but we are getting several great Blu-ray and DVDs our way that horror and sci-fi fans will definitely want to check out. Arrow Video has put together a badass Two-Disc Limited Edition set for the Thanksgiving-themed cult classic, Blood Rage, and Lionsgate is bringing The Monster, the latest from Bryan Bertino (The Strangers), to both DVD and Blu-ray this Tuesday.
Other releases for January 24th include Wait Until Dark, The Harrow, and Beauty Queen Butcher.

– Gkids, the producer and distributor of award-winning animation for both adult and family audiences, announced that it has acquired the North American distribution rights for the forthcoming animated feature “Mune: The Guardian of the Moon.” The French film is from the producers of the 2016 animated feature “The Little Prince” and will be released theatrically in early 2017, in a new English language version. The film was directed by Alexandre Heboyan and Benoît Philippon.
The film takes place “in a fantastical world where a young faun named Mune is unexpectedly entrusted with the monumental title of Guardian of the Moon.”

Maggie Geha ("Ted 2," "The Harrow") has been cast as the new Poison Ivy in the upcoming third season of Fox's "Gotham" for Warner Bros. Television.
Geha takes over from Clare Foley who played the role in the first two seasons of the series. The character's physical change will be explained in the series according to a newly released official description:
"Following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, Ivy Pepper finds herself reborn, and one step closer to the DC villain she is destined to become: Poison Ivy. Now a 19-year-old woman who's harnessed the full power of her charms, she sets her sights on Bruce Wayne."
She joins the recently cast Jamie Chung as the reporter Valerie Vale. "Gotham" returns on September 19th on Fox.
