In the final scene, as Gloria informs Rodrigo that she's "retained legal counsel from Leonard Bernstein - not that one." Apparently, her orchestra's lawyer shares the same name as the famous American conductor, composer, and public figure of the 20th century. Bernstein is most famous for composing the music for West Side Story, promoting Classical music to young people on TV, and serving as conductor of the New York Philharmonic (just as Rodrigo is conductor for its fictional equivalent, the New York Symphony).
