Good and old CSI
fuufuu-12 January 2015
This was one of those episodes that makes me remember why I like CSI. Clues that appear from nothing, wrong conclusions, a big corporation conspiring or maybe just a small and as simple as a couple fight. But, like in many other cases, the writers get so worried about enjoy the viewers all the time (and they succeeded as you can see by my rating) that at some point, on the final minutes, everything gets too fast. The hidden criminal suddenly decides to reveal all the points, all the clues, even those the CSI had zero idea about. Maybe that's the price, I don't know. But sometimes that makes me feel that the CSI aren't that good or that this is a lazy maneuver from the writers to end the episode quickly.

The Man in a Wingsuit

Nick and Greg investigate a hit-and-run scene, where the victim was dragged after the impact. David Phillips turns his body and finds several pieces of thick glass on his body. They believe the victim might have jumped through a window, but there is no building nearby. He is identified as the accountant Bradley Weeks, who works on the 30th floor of a nearby building. Russell and Greg investigate his office and find two broken windows. Soon Nick and Finn are summoned by police officers to investigate e dismembered body in a taxi van. Soon the learn that the victim is not the driver, but someone that flew into the back of the van. Soon they identify the victim as Captain Robert Holland from the Air Force, and Russell talks to his wife Amanda and his superior, Major Bernard Hills. He learns that Robert was a test pilot that was testing a wingsuit developed by TRP Aeronautics, but he was off duty when the accident happened. Now the CSIs have to find what has happened to Capt. Holland.

"Angle of Attack" is an episode of "CSI" with the story of a man wearing a wingsuit that somehow killed an accountant. How the propelled wingsuit was maneuvered inside the office is not explained. The investigation discloses betrayal and secrets that explains what happened. My vote is seven.

Interesting Motivations...But

It's an old eternal triangle story, but with a secret weapon device. I never was able to accept the delivery of the thing. I also wondered how much use it would be to the military. And, finally, would someone be able to set it off. There's just something lacking here.

They have a problem with knowing up from down
edward-864-54804825 December 2014
This is not a plot summary It is however a issue of wrong terms: Four times in the show they refer to a chamber used to simulate high altitude for the pilot training. All four times it was called a "HYPERBARIC" chamber, Wrong! Hyper means greater or above. Baric for barometric or atmospheric pressure. this chamber is often used for underwater divers to who ascend too quickly or otherwise might decompression sickness by simulating the increased pressure of diving.

For high altitude training as referenced in the show, pilots use a "HYPOBARIC" chamber aka an altitude chamber Hypo for below. In this case simulating the low pressure found at high altitudes of flight, mount climbing etc. For a show that tries to have some science, they need to try harder.
