[shouting]
Jake Doyle : LESLIE?
Malachy Doyle : [Malachy picks up Leslie's phone] Here's Leslie's phone.
[Malachy picks up Pickard's holster]
Malachy Doyle : Pickard has his gun.
Jake Doyle : [Jake opens up the car door] Leslie doesn't have her gun!
[Jake cocks Leslie's gun and holds it up. Jake sees Leslie's police badge in the grass. Jake shouts again]
Jake Doyle : LESLIE!
Malachy Doyle : Pickard?
[They see Pickard's body lying on the grass. He has blood pouring out of his mouth. Malachy checks Pickard's pulse]
Malachy Doyle : He's dead.
Jake Doyle : LESLIE?
[They go up further onto the embankment to find Leslie collapsed face-first on the grass]
Jake Doyle : DAD!
[Jake gets down beside Leslie's unresponsive and bloodied body]
Jake Doyle : Okay baby! Oh, you're okay baby! We've got to get her out of here.
[Jake picks up Leslie's limp and lifeless body]
Jake Doyle : [At Nikki and David's house] Nikki! NIKKI!
Dr. Nikki Renholds : What happened? Shit! Put her right here.
[Jake puts Leslie on Nikki's kitchen counter]
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Tell me what happened.
Jake Doyle : She's been shot.
Malachy Doyle : [Malachy pauses] And she's pregnant.
Jake Doyle : [Glaring at Malachy] What?
[pauses and looks at Leslie]
Jake Doyle : She's what?
Malachy Doyle : She told me. She begged me to let her tell you herself.
[Malachy puts his hand on Jake's shoulder]
Dr. Nikki Renholds : [Nikki on her phone] I need an ambulance at 14 Cochrane Street. NOW! Officer down and I need IMMEDIATE assistance.
Jake Doyle : Nikki? What?
Dr. Nikki Renholds : [Nikki starts to gesture to Jake to leave] Jake GO! You need to leave.
Malachy Doyle : [Jake shakes his head no] Come on! It's time for us to go son.
[Malachy takes Jake and tries to leave. Jake kisses Leslie's lips before he leaves]
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Jake, you need to go. I will take care of her. I will take care of her. I've got her Jake; I've got her! Take him, Mal, take him. Take him! Take him! Go! Jake, GET OUT! Jake, I've got her. I've got her. I've got her. I've got her.
[Nikki gives Jake a stern look as he leaves. Jake is concerned about Leslie's well-being as he leaves]

Jake Doyle : [as Nikki tries to treat Jake's wounds] I remember you used to do this when I was hung over. I was glad I was married to a doctor.
[Nikki pushes the bandage down on Jake's opened wound]
Jake Doyle : Ow.
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Is that so? Because I remember you weren't too thrilled about it at the time.
Jake Doyle : Yeah, I guess you curing my hangovers wasn't the best part of our marriage.
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Here!
[Nikki gives Jake her cell phone and the money out of her wallet]
Jake Doyle : What are you doing? I can't accept this.
Dr. Nikki Renholds : What you're doing this now?
[Sniffles]
Jake Doyle : Nikki the last time you gave me a cell phone you threw it at me during our divorce proceedings.
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Yeah, that's because you were being a total jerk about it. Don't lose it and don't get killed because I want it back. You know I like Leslie? Any woman who's willing to go on the run with you she's like a total keeper.
Jake Doyle : I know.
[Nikki gives Jake a peck on his lips]
Jake Doyle : Thanks
Jake Doyle : [He laughs] It's ironic. When you threw the phone at me you told me to die.

Dr. Nikki Renholds : [as she yawns and takes a bottle of orange juice out of the fridge. She drops the orange juice bottle on the floor in shock at the sight of seeing Jake and Leslie in the middle of her kitchen] What are you doing here?
Jake Doyle : Sorry. Okay, just relax, and please whatever you do just don't call the police on me.
Judge David Purcell : Have you seen this? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.
Dr. Nikki Renholds : David? Wait!
Judge David Purcell : You know I can't let this go.
Leslie Bennett : We need your help.
Judge David Purcell : My help? Have you lost your mind? You're a police officer for god sake!
Leslie Bennett : I was a police officer.
Jake Doyle : David, don't be such a mope. You know he does look like a mope doesn't he?
[Jake's eyes roll in the back of his head as he falls on to the kitchen floor]
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Jake? JAKE?

Leslie Bennett : Was Clarke entangled with bikers? We need to know.
Judge David Purcell : This is madness. Do you want Nikki to go to jail because of you? Just leave.
Dr. Nikki Renholds : David, Jake is a lot of things babe but he is not a killer. You know that and I know that.
Judge David Purcell : They're fugitives.
Dr. Nikki Renholds : If you know something about this then you have to tell them.
Judge David Purcell : Okay, we had reason to believe that Clarke had info on the bikers as evidence. He was using it to protect himself.
Jake Doyle : Why didn't you
[straining]
Jake Doyle : pursue it further?
Judge David Purcell : We did. Clarke had a lot of info on the bikers who were involved in a slew of crimes in the city. We couldn't get the warrants that we needed.
Leslie Bennett : Clarke goes to Rhodes with this evidence.
Jake Doyle : Then Rhodes orders Brogan to kill Clarke.
[the sound of sirens wailing in the background]
Jake Doyle : Did you just call the cops on me?
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Babe?
Judge David Purcell : I'm sorry but I had to. I can't jeopardize our family. Look just turn yourselves in and maybe I can help you.
Jake Doyle : Unless you have a little thing called "evidence" nobody can help me now.
Leslie Bennett : We've got to go!
Judge David Purcell : Thomas Plasket.
Jake Doyle : Who's that?
Judge David Purcell : He's connected to all of this. Maybe he can help you find what you need?
Dr. Nikki Renholds : Jake? Be careful, please.
Jake Doyle : Thank you, Nikki.
[Jake and Nikki hug each other as David looks on unhappily]
