Lighten up Fred!

I enjoy most episodes of Comedians in Cars...... but this was like watching grass grow or teeth being pulled. Jerry seemed to be trying his best to get Fred to engage in witty banter but Fred was soooooo boring and not forthcoming, uh huh yea hummm. Fred was more concerned with what he was specifically told would take place, oh we're going to walk around? I wasn't told we'd be doing that. And the look on Jerry's face when he seemed ready to finish and Fred said he has the whole day 😳😩 Funny, there are so many interesting places in Portland to go and this was the choice! I know the area, I live in Portland, southeast to be exact, where they were filming. * On a side note.* I have heard Fred and the team with Portlandia are difficult to work with. They filmed in an area near where I live. The store owners and neighbors said they were rude and overbearing and would never allow them to film in the area again.

I think he was trying to be funny, but honestly he came off as such a jerk it was hard to watch. No wonder the people of Portland don't give a s**t about when he walks into a coffee shop and/or restaurant. Like dude it's funny for a minute, but you're being really annoying, and it makes you look like a major A-hole. Once again No fault of Jerry's, but I was really surprised at how bad a guest Fred was. Like give Jerry something to work with geez! The prior episode was by far the worst, but this episode was disappointing because I love Portlandia so much, and I'm from Seattle, so I was pretty disappointed to say the least. I love the show, and Of course I only i'm on here to rate the bad ones but geez. I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. Why not try to at least pretend you're having a good time? I mean come on now. He acts like it's such a ordeal to sit & walk with Jerry. I mean if you don't want to be on the show just stay home . Ugh. No one feels bad for you Fred. I think Everyone felt bad for Jerry for having to put up with your ass.

Painful to watch

I've cried laughing watching Jerry and his guests have fun chatting and enjoyed the comedic banter. But this one with armisen was like getting my teeth drilled. Jerry was trying so hard and Fred just let each volley land flat. I could feel Jerry wanted to just get up and leave him at the coffee shop. What an unfunny weird guy is this fref. Why did he even agree to this? He obviously had no intention of making a good interview. They film quite a bit of material for each show. They only got like 15 minutes of usable material? How bad was the test of this???

I actually felt bad for Jerry. SMH.

The one with Garry standing was hysterical.
