What is the point of Abby using the "F" word in every other sentence? Other than that, the show has been pretty gripping.

Denial or Ignorance?

My guess is you are too young to want to know the truth on your own and growing up in Turkey you choose to swallow the propaganda about the Armenian genocide as a lie. I am also someone of Turkish descent and I can assure whoever reads this person's post that he does not speak for all Turkish people. The Armenian Genocide is in fact a dark stain in our nations history and denial like this person who posted here only serves to perpetuate the dangers of ignorance and lack of healing for both the Armenian and the Turkish people. I applaud Ray Donovan for including the Armenian Genocide in this segment, in contrast to portraying some Armenian people as criminals in the episode. Please forgive this young man's ignorance.

The writing is limping along

I've been waiting for an improvement in the writing, and there has been a little, but that Hasmig character isn't much of an improvement. I can see that something was needed if Ray was going to intervene for Mickey and this was something. It just wasn't the right something. Grandma Minassian was just about to settle ol' Mick's business when Hasmig sweeps in and grandma just melts for her. That didn't really do anything for me.

I don't really see an elderly crime family head knowing a pop singer, let alone being a fan of this young pop singer to the extent that she would let the singer influence her business conduct. The silly title of the singer's big hit, "Thighs Go Boom" is just ridiculous.

The writers are making it up as they go and it's too obvious.
