- The violence in this film is more disturbing than graphic.
- The violence in this movie is quite severe. It is not to the extent that many are used to (nothing like Hostel or similar movies) but quite detailed and not overplayed for dramatic effect.
- A woman is breastfeeding a crow, which is pecking at her breast causing her to bleed.

- The movie is overall very intense and thrilling. Plenty of bloodshed and violence.
- Several extended sequences involving disturbed or possessed children.

Sex & Nudity
- A witch rubs baby blood all over her nude body (breasts and buttocks fully shown).
- A mother sees her dead baby in a hallucination, and she breastfeeds it. It is revealed that a crow is pecking at her nipple. Nipples are seen.
- Bare-chested man outdoors seen as daughter removes his dirty shirt. Missing boy returns home nude; no explicit nudity. A nude old woman is seated hunched over; rear nudity is plainly seen. A group of fully nude women are seen in the woods, mostly in the distance, with breasts and pubic hair visible.
- An adolescent girl removes her clothes and wanders through the woods. You see her butt from a great distance.
Violence & Gore
- A man is charged by a goat with its horns. He dies from the stabbing.
- An infant is ground up into pieces and then lathered onto a woman's body. The most graphic parts are offscreen, and all we see is an old woman working a bloody pulp.
- In self defense, An adolescent girl strikes her mother in the face with a cleaver, causing a wound on her face that bleeds all over the girl's face. As her mother starts to choke her, the girl hits her in the head with the cleaver three more times. Blood is visible throughout. An extremely shocking and disturbing scene.
- About 38 minutes in, a dog is harmed offscreen. In the next shot, the dog is disemboweled, but alive.
- About 47 minutes in, a mother cuts her son's temple for blood letting to help him heal. The cut and subsequent blood is shown, however it's very mild.
- A girl goes to milk a goat and blood comes out instead.
- A boy is being hurt by an unseen force and his jaws won't open. His father has to pry his teeth apart with the handle of a knife. When he opens his mouth, he vomits up a bloody apple.
- A woman smears a baby's blood on her body.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Near the end, a witch crouches while sucking blood from a goat's udder. Two children approach her. She reveals her ugly face, cackles, and kidnaps the children offscreen. The scene implies that she killed them.
- The scene where an adolescent girl graphically kills her mother with a meat cleaver is extremely disturbing and jarring.
