Interesting Hobby
Hitchcoc6 April 2021
This episode focuses in on a group of collectors of memorabilia from serial killers. Letters they wrote, murder weapons, clothing, even a car. The car proves to be a central entity when it is unveiled and one of the managers of the auction is dead, stabbed to death in the front seat. This leads Nick and the gang to wade through the collecting business to find out who killed the guy. One problem I had was the fact that because they didn't agree with the hobby, it seemed to be okay to destroy the artifacts.

Is Las Vegas that Weird?
claudio_carvalho31 December 2023
During a Murderabilia Convention, where the attendees worship serial killers, it is found a body when the main attraction of the fair is showed. The car of the serial-killer Lucas Reems has a body on the driver's seat. Russell and Morgan identify the victim as Damon Harlow, who is the organizer of the fair with his partner Alex Friel. Soon the CSI's learn that the knife that stabbed Damon was made of Lucas' bone, and the father of one of his victims, Bruce Waters, may be connected to the murder. But when Bruce is found murdered, they need to switch their investigation.

"Merchants of Menace" is one of the episodes of "CSI" that are so weird that a foreigner questions whether this is real. The idea of people that worship serial-killers is so hard to believe that the whole episode seems to be unbelievable. But supposing that this sickness does episode, the plot is well resolved. My vote is seven.
