Sex & Nudity

- This series does not influence nudity or any kind of sexual stuff. There is no sex and nudity in the series, only some romantic talks between the characters and hugs and kisses on wife's heads.
Violence & Gore

- Characters fight each other with swords, axes, and bows, often inflicting wounds and most of the time, death.
- Some scenes of torture which may upset and disturb some viewers.
- An episode shows heads being chopped off
- 101 people here said that there is no violence and blood, do not look at them, there are a lot of blood and head-breaking scenes in this series, of course, there is a high rate of violence in this series.Also, the age limit on the site of the series, the general audience, I cannot believe that such scenes for 1-year-old children are very bad and negative examples :(
- There is so mild voilence as the blood is censored when any killing happens..
- A scene were Abdul-Raahim threatens to take some characters fingers.
- Intense bloodshed through out the series of episodes. Scenes of sword fighting, killings, beheading, choking etc.
Profanity

- The most common translation of "soysuz" is "bastard" which most parents can explain capably. Once the word "cunt" was used as a translation for something uttered by Ertugrul. The F-abuse is used in Series 3.
- None. however strong and harsh words are used through out the series but no use of abusive or swear words.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Lot of wine drinking by certain governors. Some use of hallucinogens by Mongul characters.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Excessive killing throughout series
- Includes graphic scenes such as beheadings which may be frightening for some viewers.
- In season 2, Heyma Hatun's brother unconsciously sees his wife as an evil spirit or having a scary face.
