Update: The Aether proof of concept film, ‘Aether: The Rise of Specter’, has been released! It clocks in at approximately 8 minutes and provides a quick walk-through of an elaborate world and a glimpse at the people who live in it. It stirs up feelings of Firefly for me, which is a very good thing. Don’t take my word for it. Check out the film below!
We absolutely love supporting independent filmmakers, short films, and unique storytelling. So when I learned about Aether: Prologue we just had to learn more. You may remember our preview of the full length feature Convergence done earlier this year (check it out if you missed it). Well the fine folks at Frame 29 Films, responsible for Convergence, are also responsible for Aether: Prologue.
The genre of steam punk has really been gaining popularity in recent years, and Aether: Prologue seeks to elevate the concept with a fantastic original story.
