After months of my own pleading, the Indonesian actioner, aptly titled Headshot, is getting a U.S. release this March. With that news comes a new U.S. trailer, which features much of what you’d expect from that title: furious punches, sprayed machine gun fire, and The Raid star Iko Uwais, who, if you say isn’t a complete badass, sounds the bells on the end of our friendship. The set-up is akin to something like the Bourne series. A man wakes up with amnesia, and is taken in by a woman calling him be an unfamiliar name. However, things heat up and, after a literal smash on the head, the man soon remembers…everything.
Featuring similar aesthetic stylings to The Raid — not to mention the same fighting style of silat — Headshot looks to be a hard-hitting, ferocious experience that will hopefully not only tide fans over until The Raid...

Danish director Michael Panduro is one we've been keeping an eye on in these parts for a good while now and he will soon be making his return to screens with short film effort The Sunken Convent. A man wakes up, he goes to work, he eats in, he does a bit of home surgery, he drives to the woods. Told without words and loosely inspired by the tale by Hans Christian Andersen, 'The Sunken Convent' is a slow-burning, grotesque and slightly surreal story of bad habits Knowing Panduro's normal taste and style it's safe to say this won't be like any other Andersen adpatation you've ever seen. Check out the official Facebook page here and the trailer below!...
