This movie could have been better. Characters in the movie did not have proper introductions. While watching, i didn't know who any of the characters were except for Kanang. Using the likes of Johan Ashari and Adi Putra ( well played by the way ) but never fully utilising their talent or even introducing their characters in the movie is like a slap in the face. Like MOST Malaysian movies, it seems very promising at the beginning then falls flat towards the end.
Nevertheless, It was a good attempt, however i couldn't help but notice all the flaws. Perhaps Malaysian directors should stop "attempting" and start producing results that are worth it. You have so many American war movies that you can follow the footsteps of, they started from scratch and made amazing war movies.. so what is your excuse? Challenge yourselves to be better story tellers. Please.
