Sex & Nudity

  • Bulma is seen fully naked but is not detailed
  • Contains some suggestive/sexual humor and mild partial nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • The violence is mild to moderate with very little to no blood. Very tame compared to dragon Ball and dragon Ball Z
  • Some scenes depict characters getting impaled by different weapons, however, little to no blood is shown during these scenes.
  • The tournament of power is alot more intense and action packed throughout.
  • There's a similar level of violence in this story, with cartoon-style fighting and some characters' superpowers that cause explosions and fires.
  • Most parts of violence (such as punching, kicking, etc.) has had a white flash been but over it, in the UK on the tv channel CBBC and the streaming app, BBC iPlayer.
  • The show is based around the main character fighting against villains. Most episodes contain fight scenes. However, the fights aren't very intense and are comical. They use "energy beams" and transformations to defeat opponents. Bruises and scrapes are shown on characters, and the occasional blood (very minimal).

Profanity

  • In the dubbed version of Dragon Ball Super, there are more course language than dragon Ball Zkai uncut.
  • The word "b*stard" is used several times.
  • Certain episodes have mild profanity some episodes have moderate profanity and certain ones have severe profanity it depends on the episode
  • All swearing has been edited on the TV airings on POP and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
  • Language are fairy common throughout the series, and it's used several times.
  • Some occasionally language and it's more than the previous series.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Beerus can be seen trying new foods and it is most likely that he has had some sort of alcohol.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are some scary characters, and scary words such as destroying universe, killing, blood and some explitic content and body parts cut etc.
  • Goku Black arc and Tournament of Power are the darkest arcs in Dragon Ball super.
  • TV-PG is still present in this show, but it could be TV-14 rated.
  • Characters fight with all their power and strength. This can involve some characters dying after a big battle. And a few cases of near-death experiences.
  • Some characters look quite menacing.
  • There is talks of destroying the world and the entire universe.

Sex & Nudity

  • Suggestive humor throughout. Even some cases others have said Bulma's boobies and body are saggy.

Violence & Gore

  • When fighting Goku Black, Vegeta gets impaled by a ki sword coming out of Black's hand. Vegeta spits out some blood, but its not too much to be too frightening.
  • Near the end, Goku loses his Ultra Instinct transformation. This causes him to shriek and he bleeds on-screen. This is one of the few times onscreen gore is in the show.
  • When Fused Zamasu is destroyed, he turns into an infinite essence that attempts to combine with the future universe, those many entities of him blast away most of the fellas on the future timeline Earth and Zeno was needed to erase him.

Profanity

  • Some dubs have more severe swearing
  • All has Edited In the uk pop (some left unedited) and cartoon network africa airings.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • All or most of those Gods of Destruction and their respective Angels have names related to alcoholic beverages and cocktails as well. Beerus and Whis are referencing beer and whiskey and later ones shown follow a similar theme. His twin brother is known as Champa and his Angel is Vados. Referencing champagne and vodka. And others later introduced have names like Vermoud, Marcarita, Quitella, etc.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Near the end, Goku loses his Ultra Instinct transformation. This causes him to shriek and he bleeds on-screen. This is one of the few times onscreen gore is in the show.
  • One villain, known as Zamasu, turned out to be so resilient, Zeno was needed to truly eliminate him via erasing him and resetting the timeline.
  • There are cases when someone can get their whole body and soul erased by that Hakai or Destruction energy, it has been directly shown happening to a few...although one who it was used on still ravaged that future timeline because his ring gave him temporal invincibility. And later mortal beings have been shown strong enough to resist it. Plus that later Zeno can totally erase a whole universe with little effort. But Super Shenron is confirmed able to reverse that kind of erasure.
