Let me in

Warning: Spoilers
Andrew (Brandon Salkil) is in a coma and at home in a wheel chair. His sister Agnes (Joni Durian) starts to care for him. She realizes in an animated sequence Andrew is in her head. He instructs her to take the blood of dead women (which Agnes always kills while they are naked...sorry for that spoiler) so that he can get well and doesn't have to die. That is pretty much it. Small subplot. I liked the 60's monster models on the top shelf. Acting and effects nothing to write home about. One finger piano soundtrack made the film worse. Pretty much just sat around waiting for the next tattooed female to get naked. Not that it's a bad thing, just not plot worthy.

6 stars for the FF nudity (Joni Durian, Bambi Bodette, Circes Tate, Reagan Root, Corella Waring.

Could have been pretty good

Warning: Spoilers
With a tiny budget this wasn't too bad, some great old low rate horror movie nudity. Semi attractive actresses. The LSD trip scene was rather unnecessary. All in all it wasn't a bad movie, could have been a lot better but I can't make movies either so. The fake blood was really bad. The acting wasn't terrible. It was good enough to go and check out one of his other movies next.

Should have let the victims have more of a role, showed a little more and it could have been better. Now I'm trying to make sure I come up with the correct amount of character so that I can post it, still slightly low.

Warning: Spoilers
Agnes (Joni Durian) decides to care for her invalid brother Andrew (Brandon Salkil) who appears to be in a coma. Andrew is able to communicate his wishes to his sister via ESP. Their communication reminds me of the movie Psycho, or Patrick, meaning that Agnes hears the voice of Andrew in her head.

Andrew convinces Agnes that blood will bring him back to "life", so she slowly lets Andrew become the focus of her being and does his bidding. Agnes lures people to the house so can kill them and give their blood to Andrew.

Eventually, Agnes come to enjoy the thrill of the kill and starts killing even when Andrew doesn't want her to.

This isn't my favorite of Dustin Mills, but it's still worth a look.

Sleazy and scuzzy in equal measure
Leofwine_draca23 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I see from the description of INVALID that the director, Dustin Mills, has good taste, being a fan of the great Italian giallo and horror directors such as Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci. This film seems to be his attempt at a tribute to Italian horror of old, but it doesn't really pay off and I really didn't notice anything like that. Instead this is cheap flick about a woman who cares for her disabled brother, until she begins to go crazy and starts to kill innocent women. The direction is arty and quite useless at times, such as when it cuts to animation or bad CGI bits. In any case, the emphasis is on graphic murders with plenty of nudity to boot. The gore effects are quite realistic and accompanied by icky sound effects, and the whole thing feels pretty sleazy and scuzzy.

It would be fantastic if you never made another movie again. This movie was not clever or smart at all compelling. It was straight dumpster fire! I bet everyone involved in its production gave themselves a pat on the back like they were the davinci of film BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
