Music is great factor in this film; it provides not only a nice background sound, but also an enhancement. Excellent acting. Nice pace. Very good editing, results into a nice flow of the scenes. Good photography, no overwhelming lighting; it results into a soothing feeling. Although it takes an unexpected turn, the plot is easy to understand.

The unexpected twists and turns throughout the film keep the viewer gripped till the very end. At times, it is scary to watch. The film ends with a creepy voice inside the lead actress' head which explains all her previous savage behavior. The short film is a powerful testimony of the psychological damage a war can do to a person.

War Dog exceeds the usual trauma of war. It demonstrates to an exceeding degree the psychological effect of preparing for warfare It certainly fits the genre of horror film.
The film is well directed with excellent acting, music and camera work. The transitions from scene to scene are well executed. The viewer will have much to think about after seeing this film.
