This Is A Lucifer Valentine Film, So You Already Know
perfectx-714153 January 2022
By the title of this post if your reading this review your already well acquainted with Lucifer Valentine and his movies. As you know they're basically an excuse to get hot alternative models naked so they could puke, choke, torture, mutilate and fake murder said female. Rinse and repeat same formula and make another film. And here is that film. Just like the rest you'll get the choppy editing that at first is off setting then becomes annoying after 10 mins. Speaking of annoying you end up never caring for the victim in these films because they're usually annoyingly blabbering about how useless and miserable they are or how they're in love with a complete weirdo. It's all cringy annoying female chatter. Non of it is good. Plus the movies feel like they never end. Even at a little over an hour the feel torturously long. But I got to say the effects look pretty good most of the time and are really the only reason to watch this unless you have a particular fetish for vomit and for darker S&M. Besides that this is garbage bin value horror that really needs a better plot to actually make it watchable. As it is "A Perfect Child Of Satan" is the best of his movies of this type. It's runtime and story makes it the most watchable. And "Black Metal Veins" is the best film of his in general. Watch those if this is your first of his films. If not, hey your reading this for a reason I guess because you like these films. Go ahead enjoy!

Giving the people what they want
timlin-47 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Vomit, gore, and Christmas. This movie is sickening and relentless, though rather repetitive. Valentine's style seems to be improving, the soundtrack and cinematography are pretty good, and a consistency is maintained despite the bizarre subject matter. This movie also doesn't spend time on pornographic digressions that reduce the tension. That said, the rapid cuts, intended to disorient, soon become tiring. And some shots are too long or clear, revealing the effects to be ludicrously fake, though this is probably not unintended. Of course there isn't much of a decipherable plot, but this movie succeeds in doing what it intended.

I liked this prequel less than the trilogy.

The film remains cool for those who already like Valentine's style, but, I don't know, maybe I was in a less good mood.

This time there is the addition of self-harm to the fetish elements already present in the previous films. Nothing bad, just small cuts (resulting in a few drops of blood), and NAZI symbols. Because the film takes place on a Christmas Eve (apparently) with an evil NAZI. It is supposed to give extra meaning to the trilogy. In truth, I didn't really understand where the scenario was going, but that's okay. It's the most psychedelic of VomitGore, with an editing that makes very rapid cuts. The images of Lucifer Valentine are mixed with those from archives, particularly cartoons. I understand the idea, but I won't say it was amazing. I don't know if I was a little jaded by the formula that we already know well. There was also a curiously long disclaimer at the beginning (too long).

I recommend for die-hard fans, but for the curious and others, I stick with ReGOREgitated and Slow-Torture Puke Chamber. Afterwards, I must say that the film strictly corresponds to its title.
