why any problem when they show the truth?

Why every time the Americans show the true picture of Indian on a TV show or a Movie.. why the hell every time asses are burnt..when they show the Indian streets full of dumps and dirty wall corners? Every one knows that family guy is famous for showing the society its true face... they show women being avoided in society..yes they are avoided and dis respected by men..common man its an honest show.. I am Indian too..and i was waiting for this episode the right from the start of the season.. yes,i see the Indian streets full of dirt and plastic bags jamming the sewer system.. yes i see the Indian buses full of un hygienic people..with no space too even stand.. yes they dance stupidly in the bollywood movies.. yes,Indians avoid saying "sex" in public but they will make their daughter marry a complete strange person with whom she has to share the bed for the rest of the life whom she doesn't even know.. yes indians demand dowry from the girl's parents.. India has never changed and will never change.. until their are religions and the dignity of women is ignored.. yes Slumdog millionaire too was right about India.. Thanks

A bit boring actually.

I love the «Road to...» episodes of Family Guy. The interaction between Stewie and Brian are usually extremely funny, and always well written.

This «Road to...» episode was however a big disappointment. I'm not even sure why, because there were lots of scenes that were amusing, but overall it left me with a feeling of unfulfillment. And for those critics who complain about the way it portrays Indians - no, that was not the problem (come on guys - it's a cartoon, not a social commentary. Stop taking everything so seriously). The flow was simply not there, something was missing, but as I've already said I can't put my finger on what it is. Have watched it several times (as with all FG episodes), but no revelations appeared «between the lines».

«The Road to Germany» remains the best «Road to...» episode so far (especially the unedited DVD version).

Better luck next time - will keep my fingers crossed that they get back on track.

Good episode based on stereotypes but not pushed too much, just exactly how it should be, even funny in some scenes. Not bad ending, could be better but can't complain.

Typical Stereotyping and full Indiophobia as usual in the west.

Warning: Spoilers
Typical stereotyping and use of media to do a character assassination of India.

Indophobia is on rise in the west. Probably the western clowns can't digest India's rise and they are fooling their people with misinformation and creating a false perception about India.

Media and academia is used in a well calibrated way to spread misinformation and nonsense. Selective stories. West is losing credibility very fast. It's not long time before people will stop taking them seriously.

Total gutter show which shows the cheap mentality of the producers and writers.

Stereotyping at its best

You can clearly see the white supremacy in the show.I mean india is not only about dirty places and poor people. Maybe director has no knowledge about india just portraying old stereotypical india what he has in his mind.i have seen other "road to" episodes from the show and they've pointed out some good and bad point about a country but this is just straight up bashing. Please stop portraying india if you don't have the knowledge
