This is one of the most beautifully detailed and visually rich music videos I've ever seen, it looks like old archaic scripture drawings come to life, it's an incredibly well done piece of work, I hope the animators won awards for it. I know some of it is based on the poem of Dante's Inferno and the bible story of Satan's fall from heaven and journey through the subsequent chaos and pandemonium between heaven hell and Eden that forms the new Earth but I don't fully understand it, I just love the breathtaking video of a fallen angel who descends into a lake of fire and first transforms into a gigantic dark bird and then a great serpent that coils in a spiral of fire and chains and burrows within the newly create Earth... I do find the song itself a bit bleh but who cares when there's such an overwhelmingly magnificent vision in animation to accompany it? A fantastic and inspiring work of art, thank ya very much.
