Warning: Spoilers
I was not able to watch every episode. I did not know about the series until two days ago. I was on NBCs website watching other NBC shows and saw this one. I noticed that Wesley Snipes was in it so I decided to watch it. However, the first few episodes were no longer available to watch. I saw that there were only 9 episodes in total and I had read a couple of the reviews that were given for the entire series here on IMDb and knew that this series was not going to continue. I decided to go ahead and watch the episodes that were available anyhow.

Part of this show was based on the main character trying to locate his wife. He was asked to be a part of a gambling deal where people would bet on whether a particular crime would happen or not. He was to be the "player" (the one who would try to prevent the crime). He didn't want to do it at first. Since I did not actually get to watch the first few episodes, I am not 100% positive of how he actually got talked into becoming the player. I did read the plot summary on NBCs website but that isn't quite the same as seeing the actual episodes.

He traveled a few times to help prevent whatever crime was being bet on. He did end up preventing all of them. Along the way he got clues about his wife and was able to talk to her once. He was getting closer and closer to finding her.

My pet peeve about shows that are canceled is that most of the time, they do not bother to actually tie everything up at the end. It is my understanding that they were originally going to make 13 of these but it got cut down to 9. I understand that there are times that a show sounds really good and they decide to make it but for some reason it just doesn't get the viewers they were hoping for so they cancel the show. Okay, fine. But, for the love of us viewers, please wrap up any loose ends by the final episode. Or, make a TV movie and wrap up the loose ends. There is nothing more frustrating than watching a show that has an ongoing storyline and then having the show end without resolving everything.

Because they chose to not make sure all the questions and story lines were wrapped up, I have deducted a couple of points from the rating of this episode. I think that it was a fairly good one, except for now being left hanging forever. I probably would have given this a 9 but now it is a 7.

Warning: Spoilers
Looks like it was cancelled prior to the end of the season. The episode has good moments, Snipes fighting off Alex with swag, hehe. The show had potential, the whole wife thing could've been cut out and the other two could've been more in the mix, instead of the fixed premise and character roles.
