- A number of firefights ensue during the episode. In particular are scenes where Rex and Kaanan perform a "you pull with the Force, I'll shoot" routine, and a sequence where, after Ezra has broken free from captivity, he unknowingly shoots a disguised Rex and Kaanan with his stun gun. Rex admonishes Ezra that he should have had it set to kill.
- In another sequence, Chopper seems to attempt to kill Ezra by rolling over his fingers while Ezra is hanging from a walkway.

- There is a scene where Admiral Titus describes, gloatingly, how he is going to execute Rex, all the while with an execution droid hovering menacingly over Rex.
