The simple darwin and his theory !
navendu_krishnan19 March 2016
Darvinte Parinamam is absolutely a good watch. The movie filled with hilarious dialogues, scenes and expressions. The story is somewhat different, as it does not relates to Charles Darwin or His theory, its just a simple story that relates to two different persons, a big failure in this movie is that the director forgot a statement in the beginning that the story consists of a Portuguese person with Golden skin, after that the story doesn't show his presence, apart from that that story fault, the movie goes fine. OST is below average, stunt direction is realistic, cinematography is above average. acting by Prithviraj, Shammi thilakan is applause needed. on the whole, it wont disappoint.

Darvinte Parinamam is a funny but complicated movie. (57/100)

Darvinte Parinamam is an absolutely funny movie. But, Chemban Vinod 's acting was a bit over but it was not intolerable. A defect of the movie is that they did not reveal that Portugese person is. "Gorilla Darwin" the underworld goon was a good idea from Manoj Nair even though it doesn't have any relation with Charles Darwin. I kind of dislike the ending, and it lacks some features. I feel like Jijo Antony is a good director and I need to watch Konthayum Poonoolum. Overall, Darvinte Parinamam is a watchable movie but some parts of the movie is boring, and Chandni's and Prithviraj's acting was awesome and Soubin Shahir's and Chemban Vinod's acting was satisfactory. I will recommend this movie to anyone who likes Prithviraj.

Loved all the actors/characters

Warning: Spoilers
I loved the loved the movie! A different execution of vendetta. I see some other reviews complaIning that it does not relate to the theory of evolution and that they refer to the Portuguese with golden hair who is later forgotten.

The Portuguese "person"/ "man" they are referring to is St. Antony (Golden Idol) who is actually a Catholic priest from Portugal.

In the end Anil Anto shows us that the concept of Natural selection which is Darvin's Theory of Evolution playing out. Individuals with characteristics best suited to their environment are more likely to survive. Survival of the fittest.

My qualms with the movie was the lack of completion of the stories. And poor transitions at some parts.

Irrelevant but I am being picky. 1) Why are Amala's parents never shown? Or sought help from? 2) Why didn't the person, who caused all the trouble, the chain snatcher get punished for his actions?

I saw camera in two different shots and the rain with the bright son and smoke was also annoying.

On that note I still saw the movie twice on Amazon Prime.
