- TriviaLaurie Metcalf opens the episode with a nine-minute monologue, reminiscent of her famous speech in the Broadway production of Lanford Wilson's A Balm in Gilead.
- GoofsAt the very end of the show, after Sarah leaves, and Uncle Pete says something and sets down a glass of beer to Horace. The camera cuts to a wider shot of Horace at the table and there is only one glass of beer there.
After listening to Louis on Marc Maron's WTF podcast, he stated that they filmed that part with Uncle Pete first, because the actor, Alan Alda, was leaving town for the week. So, I get the reason of why they couldn't fix it since they were publishing the episodes right after they shot them.

Astonishing performance
Louie is one of my all time favorite series because it had unique moments I had never seen before in any show or movie.
This episode really touched me. The performance was so honest, so genuine that I just wanted it to be longer and longer. And, in the end, I cried along with Louis C.K. That's the most emotive moment I've seen him through.
I love everything this comedian does. I do.
