An outcast tale

This story takes place in France among Gypsies, the French Indians, sort of outcasts. You have here a strange character, vey unusual, involved with the Gypsies in a complex way which I never really got. Many elements miss in this very deep minded and sensitive approach in the story telling. But the weird editing don't make things easier ti totally understand this worth movie not for all audiences.

This is why i don't care about "customer reviews" when it comes to work of art :-) I think this film is deeply emotive without being melodramatic. It's full of love, loss, longing, desire, despair, joy - a whole spectrum of human struggles in desperate circumstances. The story line is simple yet full depth - each main character's back story is brilliantly hinted at, and viewers can intelligently imagine what drives their actions. The narrative plot makes it pacy and engaging. I probably didn't even blink for the whole movie. Oh and of course, the acting - superb. Atmospheric and gorgeous cinematography which fits the mood and the heart of the movie. IF YOU SAW THIS MOVIE'S HEART. And I did. 5 star.

I watched the movie and I thought the acting and storyline was superb. While I get that the movie is not everyone's cup of tea, it was well done and well executed.
