During a question and answer session in Lowell, Massachusetts after a screening of the documentary in March 2017, the director explained that the film had been screened for the U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy and that after the screening, Ambassador Kennedy sought out Mr. .Mori's address and then arranged for Mr. Mori to attend President Obama's visit to Hiroshima.
