A Car, A Sociopath and a Phone drive onto a highway
guestar57-625-40117920 March 2018
Written & Starring : Jeff Houkal

Directed by: Daniel Imperiale

Tricked into watching this sparse, enthralling film.

This reviewer felt something while watching a man in his car,His non-interaction face to face with daughter and a multitude of voices.

Those voices on his legally propped dash I-phone,Some were disappointed in him,Some were threatened by him and others just seem to float in his car as noise to set off this frail, vicious time bomb of a man.

The hospital drama is fascinating to be a gawker at and yet almost like Radio except for how Man In a traffic Jam reacts and then acts.

Gridlock indeed

I wanted to hate this foul-mouthed antihero, but as his own choices come back to batter him down I came to pity him and finally to understand him a little. In the end, I was just sad.

Change your outlook

I got a kick out of watching the lead interact with people during his daily commute, what a lovable jerk. Then things got real. No spoilers, but this movie will make you examine what is truly important in your life.

Gridlock on an LA freeway

All the action takes place in the car as the main character communicates with colleagues, friends, exes and family. This intense, tight, fast paced this movie pulls you in and doesn't let you go. Viewed on the recommendation of a friend and was glad I did. Good work.

LA gridlock makes any day worse

It kept me interested from the start. His frustrating interactions via phone while stuck in traffic kept building and his anger became almost palpable. Lots of swearing but his life events and being stuck in gridlock made me overlook the profanity because the emotions were so raw and intense.
