Class 1-7 of Tennomifune Academy is the dumping ground for the students with the worst luck; if something can go wrong for one of them it invariably will. On the first day of the year new students Hibari and Hanako meet on the way to school; the latter is dangling from a bridge at the time. Later on the two of them meet the somewhat fragile Botan. Once at school their form teacher explains that the objective for this class of unfortunates is to find happiness. Things soon get fairly surreal; they discover that a robotic rabbit named Timothy is to act as their guide through school and proceed to get into a variety of more and more unlikely situations; all the time they seem to stay happy despite the various misfortunes that affect them.
This anime series is pleasant enough with is gentle pacing and somewhat surreal stories; there is certainly nothing in it to offend nor is there that much to separate it from all the other anime series about a group of high school girls. The animation is pretty good and the characters are likable with some fun traits. An example being Hibari being in love with the cartoon mascot that appears on certain construction warning signs! Overall I'd say this is an inoffensive series that passes the time well enough; it is however fairly forgettable.
