- The Evil Queen stabs one of her knights in the chest after briefly swordfighting, for no apparent reason. She laughs and is seen wiping the blood from the blade and sniffing it.

- Venom from a deadly snake is a major plot point in this episode; the Evil Queen tries to get the Count to poison Snow White and Prince Charming with it. Rumplestiltskin uses the poison to kill Charlotte and her dead body is shown.
- Regina swordfights against the Count. The fight ends when she throws the sword at him from behind and it impales and kills him. Very little blood, but the sword goes through his body onscreen.
