Gloria Gets Submarined

This is one of the better episodes in the series. First, we have Gloria, overseeing another fundraiser for very rich people. Cynthia plays the cello (though she has had some bad news from her doctors) and Rodrigo conducts a group of musicians from the larger orchestra. Gloria has them where she wants them, but Rodrigo, who was the product of a youth symphony, grabs the microphone several times and starts giving things away. An orchestra for all children, free chairs, free instruments. Gloria begins to fall apart, knowing their financial margin is tenuous at best, just to continue their regular season. She takes Roderigo into the kitchen and starts throwing things at him. He tells her that he will find the money somewhere. In the other big plot development, Hailey has managed to get a small group to play Thomas's composition. She is going to conduct. But Thomas can't keep his hands off the process. Eventually, she has her moment.
