When looking at external moving shots of the private jet, the aircraft featured is a Gulfstream with oval windows. The aircraft used for internal shots as well as stationary with Governor Royce outside is a Bombardier Global aircraft with more traditional rectangular windows.
General Munoz's refusal to mobilize the state troops under federal orders would be extremely implausible and nearly impossible under the current National Guard system. Mobilized National Guard troops are under federal control (known as "Title 10" status) and are considered as regular United States Army personnel, the moment they are mobilized, and are no longer subject to control of the state government. If the State Adjutant General were to refuse to mobilize, he would be immediately relieved of duty and arrested by his own subordinates. Even if all of General Munoz's top officers were in on the plot, the active guard component (comprised of full time Army Reserve officers) would quickly issue orders relieving all the senior officers and replacing them with regular Army personnel who would then obey the President. The rank and file Guard force would also never follow the orders of a rouge Adjutant General since, if they did, they would be subject to the harshest extremes of military justice, be subject to arrest for mutiny, risk losing all their pay and benefits, and face prison or execution for treason.
Different cellular phone screens throughout different episodes will show the carrier as 'Rogers', a provider that is available in Canada.
Towards the end of the episode when Agent Hannah Wells is reviewing pictures on her phone, the carrier is listed as "Rogers" which is a Canadian Mobile provider and not something you would see in Washington DC, and not likely something a US based FBI agent would use.
When Kirkman has Governor Royce arrested for treason, he calls him "James Royce", when it was established in an earlier episode that Royce's first name is John.
While President Kirkman is discussing the situation in Michigan with his wife, he refers to Governor Royce as "Governor Rice".
