- Some scenes of characters nearly naked or shirtless (particularly Jesse.) Nothing graphic, though. Sexual jokes and references to things like rape, masturbation, and incest are pretty common, and many can get pretty graphic. There are also a few scenes where characters watch or talk about pornography.

- Brief bloody violence.

- Swearing is consistently constant throughout the series, especially when things get hectic. The protagonist, Jesse, swears and makes sexual references practically every sentence. Characters such as Jeffery, Aunt Melissa, and later in the series, Psycho Dad are also known for constant swearing. Most common curse words are sh*t, f*ck, and a**hole. Also words like c*nt, d*ck, c*cksucker and other sexual terms are used. There are one or two subtle uses of n*gger throught the series that will probably be unnoticeable for most people.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Jesse never drinks until the very last episode, but most other characters drink constantly. Uncle Larry is never seen without his Corona, Aunt Melissa drinks wine a lot and characters like Corn or Jeffery are occasionally seen with beers. Psycho Dad in the second half of the series is usually seen with a beer as well. No drug use, but lots of references and jokes about drugs are made.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There's fights between family members (they curse each other, destroy things, etc). It can be shocking for some viewers.
- The gradual deterioration of Jessie's mental state could be upsetting for some viewers.

- There is destruction of items and belongings. Occasional physical fights, and some scenes of gun violence and suicide.
- Psycho Dad is shot at near the end of the series.
- In the series finale, Jesse is seen with a noose around his neck, clearly contemplating suicide.

- In Psycho Girlfriend Breaks iPad have so many words "F--k"
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The ending to the series is very sad and emotional when Jesse explains to the audience what he's planning to do and where to find a new place to live after "killing" his psychotic dad and "escaping" from his home.
