I hope the same excitement goes on!
ahmetkozan5 December 2016
Icerde is a Turkish action-thriller TV series. The series is directed by Uluc Bayraktar.

One of the best series I have seen in Turkish series. Tells the story of two brothers who are unaware of each other. I didn't think I liked it so much. But it's a really great series. I am waiting for every chapter with curiosity. Aras Bulut is a very good actor. I like him very much. This series deserves the reward. It's going to be very exciting right now. I hope that will continue.

I hope this series will be long-winded.

In the hope that such sequences will increase... 8/10

Best turkish series for me!!!!
ssimeonidou130 September 2021
ICERDE is my most favorite series of all, along with Ezel... Everything about this series is amazing, this could even be not only the best Turkish series but the best series i have ever seen script-wise, story-wise, character-wise... The plot has suspense and twists right from the first episode. They make you laugh, cry, wait, react and fell in love with the leading couples! The music by turkish composer Toygar Isikli is wonderful!!! The cinematography, the script, the music, the locations, and above all the performances... amazing acting by the whole cast! This series is the masterpiece of both Cagatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut Iynemli who allready deserve international acclaim for their roles but managed to turn up the heat in this with their superb acting and their unbelievable chemistry (even though it is based on jealousy and hate) that made me feel their pain by making it so real!!! I also loved the leading ladies as well, especially Bensu Soral who melts my heart with her acting and her life story from which she comes from!!!

This series i have watched over and over and makes me excited every time again!!! I suggest it unconditionally to my friends!!!

Addicting story, incredible drama, suspense, action!

Warning: Spoilers
You must watch a few Turkish series, to begin to appreciate the art-form this country exports. Next to the USA Turkey sends out more films to the world. Their stories are extremely popular world-wide. Their series are very detailed, and in no hurry to finish in just a measley 2 hours. This series ICERDE was over 80 hours in length.

I finished ICERDE in a long binge! The Producers, the Directors and the Writers were 360% incredible with their ability to keep this storyline making sense. The director was able to capture great facial expressions that reflected the emotions, or feelings of the characters in scenes without the character uttering a word. Each actor hired for this series has reason to be very proud of their work, especially Catagay & Ulas, the heroes. Hollywood will NEVER be able to replicate this masterpiece of story-telling. I was on the edge of my seat the entire series, and not one actor had to get naked or have on-screen sex, which is Hollywood's standard. I am so impressed with the country of Turkey and their film-making business. American TV is so boring, I am losing interest in the TV shows I used to watch! My only distraction was the tight pants the actors wore! Yes, they looked good in them, but I wondered how the guys could move around with such agility!! 10 star rating from me.

Içerde... Nothing is what it seems
anakurga5 January 2019
Inspired in Martin Scorsese's The Departed, Içerde tells us a completely different story. The starting point is the old cat-and-mouse chase, the policeman spying on the mafia and the mafia spying on the police. However, the result is completely different. The plot is great: it could be said that the personal and family story feeds the police story and vice versa. There's a lot of suspense and twists right from the first episode. The filming is very good and the performances are great, wonderfully headed by Çagatay Ulusoy (Sarp). Other performances are also very good, such as Aras Bulut Iynemli (Mert), Çetin Tekindor (Celal Baba) and Riza Kocaoglu (Davut). To sum up, you can't miss it! 100% addictive! Regards from Argentina.

If you didn't watch içerde before, let me tell you you've missed ALOT!
ebnatomran28 April 2018
I'm not Turkish and I've never tried to watch any Turkish shows.. Simply, because I didn't found them interesting for me. Actually I thought all the Turkish shows are boring (no offense).. but Içerde has changed EVERYTHING literally!! For me, this show is the best thing the Turkish drama has ever done and I don't even think they could do another show as perfect as içerde.. I've watched the departed and Içerde.. in my opinion Içerde is much BETTER! I like the idea of how Sarp and Mert are enemies but they're looking for each another at the same time!! I've cried so hard when they first met.. it was the best scene I've ever watched.. Çagaty and Aras did a very great job in this show.. I hope I can find another show as içerde or at least I hope I could erase my memory so I can watch it all over again :')

Içerde, just awesome!
marwanbaos19 April 2018
Dears who read this, I have a story, this is the first time to me to watch full Turkish TV series, and it was really great experience! A friend of me recommended it & I refused many times -especially when I noticed that each episode is 2 hours which is normal in Turkish drama- then the deal was to watch only the first episode & decide. Simply I became addicted. I couldn't stop until the last second of the series, irresistible!

The sequence of episodes, the exciting end of each episode! Amazing acting by the whole cast, & Really really Outstanding performance from some! I've never expected so! You will laugh, cry, wait, react & love!

Drama, thrill, action, romance and even comedy, almost a complete work!

It's one of the times when you see great work and then you get worried that you may not find such magnificence again!

If you're planning to start watching a series; so this is Highly highly recommended you will never regret watching this and at the same time you missed a lot of fun not watching it until now.

Bravo!

What an amazing, mind-blowing work! Great cast, incredible acting!
marianna_k-5304821 December 2017
I'm a turkish series fan in general and a perfectionist. This time I was not willing to start watching Tv series again, because I knew I might end up being disappointed. Or addicted. And that's what happened! I've never been so mesmerized and affected by a turkish serial, not even with Ezel! What an amazing cast, what an amazing acting from all of the actors! Especially Cagatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut Iynemli! I never cry watching films, but I literally cried every time Sarp and Mert cried. Bravo! For me it's the best turkish series I've ever watched! I feel like I don't know what I'm going to do with my life now that I watched all the episodes! Harika!

brotherhood, family values, loyalty, humanity, friendship
mehmetyilmaza21 June 2017
Dear readers,

Here, I just would like to share my feelings and views with you about Içerde. This TV series is neither an action thriller nor a Soap Opera with concerns about rating on TV. It reflects the true tragedy of many children in the streets of metropolitan today. Children are being abducted and abused for money and many other inhuman interests every day. The two main characters of Icerde, Umut & Sarp will find each other after many desperate years. You will see the brotherhood, family values, loyalty, humanity, friendship and the importance of not losing of the hope in the series. regards, Mehmet

Amazing but ...
yassinamer-6239220 August 2019
I rated it 6 only because of the overstretching, this could have finished in 20 episodes or even less ... but it still enjoyable and worth a watch .

Great season 1 episode 1 opener
cgvsluis24 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I thought the first episode was fantastic. The acting especially by the actor who plays Sarp was fantastic, really top drawer. The range of emotions was really well acted, particularly around grief for both Umut and Melek. But more so was the quixotic changes around the love/hate game/reality involving Celal. Now for the (spoilers) couple of things I didn't like...I really disliked that Mekek was killed off. Especially after the emotional roller coaster that the character Sarp goes through, it would have been nice to see him rewarded for all of his sacrifices with a loving relationship. The second thing without giving too much away, I feel like the long scene spent with Celal dragged on and was unnecessary at the end. Frankly, I would have rather seen Melek get a proper grave for the boys to mourne at! Also, Fusun's character really angered me at the beginning. How could she know her son so little that she would think he would that quickly go to work for Celal's organization? I was suspicious and I had only seen him on screen for twenty minutes! It just didn't seem in character. Shame on his mom! I loved what a good time Sarp and Mert had when they were tied up and things looked grim. The laughing and dialogue between them was really a highlight of the show. Great twists and turns. The writers should really be saluted for keeping you in the story. I'm generally very mello, but they drove me to literally stand at one point and say "I can't take it anymore! I can't watch!" Now that is good writing. Really worth watching. You should see this show. So much better than most of what is being cranked out in Hollywood and what is appearing currently on American TV. Oh! And just in case Netflix or it's equivalent picks this show up...watch the Turkish original with subtitles. It is worth it, some of the actors have great voices. I am thinking of Sarp, Alyanuk, Minik, Kudret (lot's of crazy noises too), etc.

Too violent. it does not give any morale story to viewers. great actors I must say. its just not suitable for Turkish culture and viewes. it feels like they are copying ideas from different movies.

Best series ever
ilovesteca24 September 2017
I was already a fan of Cagatay, Aras, Cetin and Riza, so putting them together in one series persuaded me to watch a series about the mafia that I usually avoid like the plague. But this is far more than that. Its family drama, thriller, comic, romance, funny and most of all the series with the most exciting plot and magnificent acting that I have seen in a long time. And I have seen some pretty good series. Everybody will fall in love with the two leads, two brothers unaware of their kinship but still with an unbelievable chemistry even though it is based on jealousy and hate. This series is the masterpiece of both 26 year old actors Cagatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut Iynemli who deserve and already received international acclaim for their previous roles but managed to turn up a notch in this. This is a series I will watch over and over and will make me excited every time again. Its epic. Get ready to be dragged inside and never to want to leave again.

The series tells the story about how two brothers find each other after 20 years apart and what they have to go through to get justice done against the man who separated them
fjori-7319612 June 2017
One of the best Turkish series ever (actually it's in the first place for me) Although some episodes in the beginning might seem kind of boring if you're more a kind of romantic series, it only keeps getting better! There are some outstanding performances by great actors and I also love the story and the script (:

Excellent Show
worldclassschoolsu21 March 2017
I have watched a great many International Dramas. I have seldom seen any better than this. Great action, plot twists, and acting that is simply the best in the world.

The concept may have been adapted from a screenplay but what an adaption. Two hours each week that never fails to surprise and delight an audience. I only wish other companies, directors and actors were doing such work. It is equal to or better than going to movie each week. Why go to a movie when I have some one on the inside coming to my screen each week?

Icerde, a magnificent series!
gabrieladimitriu-9728713 January 2019
This series full of adrenaline and suspense, I've seen it many times so far! The emotional story of the two brothers, Sarp and Mert, in different camps, the police and the mafia, has shown us that the good, can defeat evil! Each episode has left us without breath and all the action is full of adrenaline! I laughed, I cried with the characters of the show! I love Cagatay Ulusoy's performance as Sarp, it was simply magnificent! Sarp has always been with one foot on the verge of the abyss, I think that Cagatay Ulusoy's performance has remarkable ! I love this actor due to his versatility he has shown during the 39 episodes! I strongly recommend this series, of course you will not regret! The team of actors, the director, absolutely everything I really enjoyed!

Warning: Spoilers
I've watched Turkish soaps for so long but, this one is really amazing, you know, the soap steals your heart from the beginning. I can't count how many times I've cried because of some episodes, I'd say that the saddest episode is the one where Yusuff dies.

Warning: Spoilers
Icerde is the best Turkish series of the moment. Yesterday, episode 38 was aired, and next Monday, June 19 the last episode will be broadcast. The actors are excellent, Cagatay Ulusoy, Aras Bulut, Cetin Tekindor, and all the team that accompanies them do a great job. The plot is fantastic, in a single episode they make you laugh, cry, fall in love. The music by the renowned Turkish composer Toygar Işıklı is wonderful. I am happy to have been able to watch Icerde every Monday since September last year, but sad because there's only one episode for it's end. I just hope the story ends well for the two brothers.

İt's a good series, but especially the last 7 episodes are worth it!
bilgehantukus15 July 2017
İf every episode was 1 hour, it would probably be one of the greatest Turkish series. But the story has too much plot holes, mistakes and every episode is too long with 2 hours (!). But the great point about the series are the actors. Especially living legend Cetin Tekindor, and the youngsters Aras Bulut and Cagatay Ulusoy. The biggest surprise is Aras Bulut who really surprised me with his superb acting, he is the crownprince of the Turkish series industry and İ except he will soon be known throughout the world. İ recommend the series for Turkish people. İf you are not of Turkic origin first watch series like Ezel (the best Turkish series) and Kuzey Guney.

Warning: Spoilers
Two brothers: one is a cop infiltrated in mob, and the other is a cop working for the mob. They don t know about each other, and nothing happens. No action, no nothing. Just drama, and one bullet. Nothing! Those who gave 10/10, did you see Söz (The Outh)? or maybe Carpisma (The Crash)? Kimse Bilmez ( No One Knows) ? Söz is made with Turkish Govermen. I lost 3 days because of your 10/10 rates...Grow up!
