David's legal imbroglio, Pete's depression, Jenny's stalker imbroglio, Angela as stepmum...Cold Feet...cold shoulder?

Warning: Spoilers
Cold Feet hasn't lost its touch, and is a guidebook for any series that's seeking to reboot.

David find himself being arrested early morning, thinking it was about his speeding points. It wasn't, rather the charge related to fraud on a large scale. We learn David's lawyer bills him 300 GBP per hour, which is actually quite reasonable by lawyer standards on such a scale.

David's asked to take gardening leave from work while the dust settles, and his supervisor reassures him "Plods got a hard-on the City. Next month they'll persecute someone else. Migrants hopefully." Now that's very prescient. This episode was probably filmed pre-Brexit, but screened in the wake of the referendum, and since then with migrant crackdowns and screaming tabloids, this line kind of sums things up sadly.

David's arrest doesn't distract him from being a relationship broker between Eddie and Karen, with their relationship blossoming (with Karen even dreaming she's in bed with Eddie).

Talking about Eddie, his daughter Angela is adjusting to life as stepmum to a teenager. Angela laments being away from Singapore and tells landlady Tina (who looks a bit like Helen Baxendale coincidentally I guess?) she's been offered a promotion. Angela kind of feels left out of the Six Feet circle of friends (probably an age factor).

When a stranger calls...Trevor gets Jenny's number and is determined to form a relationship. Oh dear. Jenny gets Adam to help her out in this Fatal Attraction-type imbroglio.

The Swan with Two Nicks also gets an appearance during Adam, David and Pete's bike ride, which has a moral thread in it, which cheers Pete up, and helps re-etablish David's moral compass amidst his legal imbroglio.
