The physician seeing the president in the hospital says she needs to talk to him about the latest CT scan. She pulls up an image on her tablet, but the image is NOT of a CT scan. It's a plain AP chest radiograph (xray). CT scans show slices of the body part from inferior to superior (bottom to top) . A chest xray displays the entire chest, but only in one imaging plane.
