Romantic. Heart-wrenching. Passionate. Riveting.

Cesur ve Güzel (Bold and Beautiful) embodied those attributes and more. I was hooked from the first episode— the first scene, really.

As always, the performance of lead actor Kivanc Tatlitug is outstanding. His uncanny ability to project emotion through body language and facial expression is like looking through a window into his soul. I could feel what he was feeling—whether it was gut- wrenching pain as he mourned loss, or fuming rage as he confronted the man who destroyed his family. He's the best actor I have EVER seen.

What I loved:

•Explosive premise •Great acting of Kivanc Tatlitug •Flashbacks and close up camera for romantic moments •A satisfying ending •Romance without steamy bedroom scenes

What I wasn't so fond of:

•Some weak plotting/writing around episode 23 •Repeated music tracks

Concluding thoughts:

For the most part, the show kept me on the edge of my seat. As an author, I learned a lot about plotting, pacing, and emotion. As a viewer, I was taken through a full gamut of emotions—fury over injustice, crushing disappointment of hard truth, and the swoony thrill of being in love. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like romance, you'll probably enjoy this too. But I warn you... It's hard to watch just one episode! (This review is an excerpt from my full review on my website's Turkish Drama blog.)

Another good show from Turkey

Good series and a great choice of actors. What I like is that not all is related to emotions, love and soap, but real life problems. All the actors are great. What is a pity is that this scenario is too simple and easy for the potential that actors like Kivanc and Tuba have. Hope to see them both in another project together where both of them are going to shine in all the glory of their talents. Rarely I can pick my favorite supporting actress, but in this case, Irmak Örnek won my heart. Well done!

Completely addictive Turkish drama!!

Frankly speaking, I didn't expect much before watching this. But, due to many people give good reviews about this drama, I wanted to give it a try. Yeah, from the first episode, I gotta say I got absorbed and absorbed and finally I finished watching all of the episodes. It was incredibly fascinating and thrilling at the same time. Thumbs up!!!

What wonderful luck to come across this series! I urge all to give it a watch as it just gets better and better. It has romance and drama without the redundant swear words or sex scenes of USA TV. I am on episode 7 which means I have binge watched at least 13 hours and can't stop watching!

The supporting cast is great, and the two main stars are beautiful to behold (besides being great actors). The chemistry between them radiates off the screen. We learn to care about all the characters because of the great writing and directing. This has mundane USA TV beat by far!

I am finding that the Turks really know how to produce a worth-while story! The worst thing is trying to find the series on You-Tube with English subtitles and HD quality, so,I am hoping that Netflix, Hulu or Amazon will soon pick it up.

Enthralling and passionate. This was one of those rare stories that touch your heart if you like thoughtful and deep storylines. A classic story of revenge but with a twist in which the main characters actually get to act like real people. The love story between the leads is incredibly complex and intense. The conflict of the love story was internal with the leads battling their own demons instead of external factors keeping them apart. How do you stand by the man that wants revenge against a father you have loved all your life? Can you give up avenging your family for the woman you love? Its that constant conflict that tears them up inside. It was hard to watch them push each other away at times knowing how much they hurt themselves and each other. It wasn't a fairytale story but it was a love worthy of a fairytale. A type of story that makes you believe in the power of love.

Aesthetically one of the best looking shows. The two main stars are absolutely gorgeous together. The supporting characters are equally complex and varied. The twists and turns were surprising and unique. One of the best shows I have watched in any genre!

I have found an Turkish website with English subtitles where you can see all episodes. So far they are 24 posted.

Also, another turkies series , very good is the Kara Para Ask, it has 54 episodes , with English subtitle, very good quality. The feminine character is the same as Guzel.

Cesur & Suhan are a fantastic, realistic couple who, both have trust issues and that's okay. I could understand them both in their continual struggle, in many cases agreeing with Cesur and in many others agreeing with Suhan. However, the story lost its way in the middle. It became the "Riza Show" instead of moving forward with the same storyline that was set in motion since the beginning. Also, there were too many eavesdropping which is a classic soapy move, and too many "villains" who wished nothing but disaster for the main characters and with no apparent real reason.

Nontheless, I gotta say the soundtrack is fantastic, it is one of the things that I liked the most. Also the directing, editing, photography and locations are absolutely wonderful. In general, it is a GREAT production and it would've been better without many of the decisions that the scriptwriters chose to make.

I watched and rewatched this movie , the couple Tuba Kivanc is amazing ! Great chemisy. They are unique and unforgettable. Tuba Büyüküstün is amazing , great actting , Very talented and beautyful actress !

I mean, you can't go wrong with Kivanc and Tuba, among others in the cast... but it could've been even better. I found it hard to like Suhan for the majority of the episodes. The character went a little too far with the hate... in the hate vs love dilemma. But the ending was good, you don't watch 30 episodes just to see your couple end up dead or apart. Ultimately, I feel it's worth a watch just to see these beautiful actors and actresses and enjoy the typical Turkish melodrama.

Disappointing script, cold acting, unrealistic characters

The story of Cesur Ve Güzel started as a story of revenge. Cesur, with a false identity, arrives in a town of his enemy Tahsin, the man who killed her father and his grandparents when he was a child. He met Tahsin's daughter, Suhan, and plans to approach her in order to get revenge on Tahsin. Cesur falls in love with Suhan too fast, he doesn't think, he does not question himself. That is not credible, because he has a goal, that is revenge. Suhan is an undefined character, it is not clear who is she and what are her objectives in the life. She lives in a farm but wears clothes of a top model. She wears miniskirts and short-pants when she is managing her own company. Is that realistic? A breaking point happens at the end of episode 7. Everybody discovers the true identity of Cesur and what is his goal. In a story of revenge the true identity is a secret that is discovered little by little. Suhan is disappointed of Cesur, she fell in love with him and knows the real intention of Cesur. She is in the middle between Cesur and her father, but she doesn't suffer much. Suhan confronts Cesur about his true identity at the room of the hospital, that could be a great dramatic scene, but Suhan is almost quiet, Cesur, the man who wanted revenge, suffers much than Suhan. At the end of episode 8 Cesur confess his love to Suhan. Probably that would be part of his plan of revenge, but he seems very honest. Tahsin do things in order to destroy Cesur but affects Suhan, so she is angry with Tahsin and asks for marriage to Cesur. Wedding happens in episode 11. After that the story falls into a deadlock, it become in a tug-of-war between Cesur and Suhan. Suhan loves her father and wants Cesur forget his revenge, Cesur loves her but doesn't want to give up his revenge: they have arguments, they reconcile, they separated and join again and so on, finally they get divorced and after few episodes they get married again. Cesur that started as a strong character, as a relentless man becomes in a weak man, surrendered at Suhan's feet. Suhan, the undefined character shows her selfishness. It was supposed that Suhan would be the victim of Cesur, not Cesur the victim of Suhan, what kind of revenge is this? Tahsin wasn't like a villain, he was like a grumpy grandfather, he is not a strong enemy for Cesur, so the writers introduce a new villain, Riza, a psychopath. The story has a breaking point again. Since the first episode writers left many issues without solving. Supporting characters and their sub-stories are not interesting and not are well interlaced with the main subject. Characters are in black or white, they are good or villains. All the villains against Cesur and Suhan is boring. There is not evolution in the main characters, they plays in the same way. In the same number of episodes, Kivanç had more romantic scenes than in other series he played, however he didn't match with Tuba. Most of their romantic scenes were cold.

Great story. Casting fabulous. But somewhere, story move so solely. You can skip 1 2 episodes. One time watch.

This is one of the worst highly anticipated Turkish series ever!!! The actors may be famous but there is NO chemistry between the two of them what so ever. None! They are supposed to be madly in love with each other but you can't see that.It's like you're watching 2 people hating to touch or kiss one another. That's not all. The story is terribly written. The biggest secret is after 7 episodes no secret anymore. Waste of time. Will not watch further.

Fabulous, Amazing, Breathtaking series

By far one of the best series I have ever seen. Totally different from other series we have known and we have watched before, unlike many other American series this series is making me realize how ordinary life looks like. I mean its not about fantasy, but the real world. One of the coolest thing about Cesur ve Guzel is the leading actor and actress, they are well chosen couple, they are acting skill is flawless, awesome and heart taking. Kivanc and Tuba are from another planet... I highly recommended to every one to see this series, even though its still on going on air.

I saw all episodes of the show, It was the best TV SHOW I have ever seen. Tuba and kivanc they were very romance and beautiful together, They deserve to be best man and woman acterss together. It's been along time since I saw TV show like this. I hope we see Tuba and kivanc in onther work like this show as lovers.

Amazing series ! Cesur & Suhan are one of the best couples I've seen in Turkish Drama, Loved all the details of their story & the beautiful nature of Korludag village. Kivanc is a world class actor and he deserves so much appreciation for his work .This is the best thing I've watched in 2017.

This soup op is another representation of Turkish culture. police and judicial system is paid for performance, women are bad soles and creators of worst conspiracies', men are naïve and the rest are criminals or helper of criminals. parents also do most harm. and as always, the Turkish writers put an innocent good person in their films and enable everyone to commit the most horrible crimes on the good character. Its in all of their series that I have seen so far . the 7 is for the acting, the only good thing about Turkish soups.

A good, compact story, interest and suspense are maintained throughout the series. Good acting by Kivanc Tatlitug, Tamer Levent and Erkan Avci, although I couldn't help thinking that Tuba's part seemed very similar to that of her heroine in Kara Para Ask.

CVG is a success only in the mind of its fans

This story could be a success, it started good but it became not credible. Writers introduced many twists that distort the direction, that is the revenge. Nothing new or amazing: Writer Ece Yorenç tried to mix elements of other Turkish series. The story starts as "Asi", continues as "Ezel" (use of flashbacks and surprise effect), copies scenes of Ask-i Memnu, the long process in search of justice remains me of Fatmagul. She created a monster that she couldn't how to manage, so she gave up the project in the episode 18 and other team had to continue the script. Who says that Cesur Ve Güzel is a success series is because he or she have never watched other series written by Ece Yorenç or played by Kivanç Tatlitug or in general, awarded Turkish series. CVG started in November of 2016, but since March rating was decreasing little by little. Last 8 weeks rating was too low, a few more than 3 points. It was demonstrated that reconciliation of Cesur and Suhan and the most romantic scenes didn't have any effect in rating, because viewers had bored.

Cesur ve Guzel.

I watched the series Cesur ve Guzel on Youtube. To me it seems that the script is identical to the series Kara Para Ask and Severin Kizi, with the difference that the romance between EnTu in the series Kara Para is so intense that it has nothing to do with acting anymore, but is real love for each other.

Think for yourself that this romance between the two actors ultimately resulted in love and passion for each other, especially after the last series Seferin Kizi. Conclusion: I find the series Cesur ve Guzel long-winded, boring, and not really exciting that you get sucked into the story.

The worst TV show for the amazing Tuba, sloppy story with stupid plot , the male main character is so fake and there is no chemistry between them, I can't believe how shitty the mainstream taste are!! what a soap opera cliché with ridiculous plot and unbelievable characters. I stopped watching after episode 12, couldn't anymore even if Tuba is my favorite Turkish actress.
