Off the bat john carpenter had this script dropped on his desk, and apparently immediately said how can i not make this movie. Hes right china town san francisco , mystical chinese war lords and spirits of the ancient past, kung fu fighting, kurt russell a smart alic jie talking truck driver,, kim the journalist and a troupe of do good guys wanting to kick bad ass. Its just a joy to watch, leave your concentration at the door and step in to action giggle fest town, your on a rollercoaster ride.
