After weeks of relatively soft debuts on the Billboard 200 albums chart, rapper Future launched at number-one for the tracking week of April 29 through May 5 with big numbers for his ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You.” The collection achieved 222,000 equivalent album units. Read more about this week’s album chart here at Billboard.com.
The vast majority of Future’s album units came from streaming, followed by traditional album sales and individual track sales. Overall, it’s the most successful week for an album in 2022 so far, with more total units than anything since Adele‘s “30,” which racked up 288,000 units in its second week last December. And it’s the biggest week for a rap or R&b album since the second week of Drake‘s “Certified Lover Boy” earned 236,000 units. It’s the eighth number-one album of Future’s career.

Miranda Lambert sings about being in perpetual motion on her new album Palomino. Set for release April 29, it’s the follow-up to her collaborative 2021 album The Marfa Tapes and her first album under her own name since 2019’s Wildcard.
The track list includes a few songs from the bare-bones Marfa Tapes that are gussied up for Palomino, like “Geraldene” and “In His Arms.” There’s also a wealth of new compositions, many of them with songwriters Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby. Dick, Marfa Tapes alum Jon Randall, and Lambert produced the record.

Frenchie knew he was probably toast on “Big Brother 23” when Kyland nominated him and Britini, and he definitely was after he failed to win the Wildcard comp and the Veto, leading to his 11-1 eviction on Thursday.
It’s been a wild two weeks for the farmer (real name: Brandon French) from Tennessee. He started off promisingly after winning the first Hoh, but things quickly went downhill after he tried to form a bunch of alliances with practically everyone in the house and made way too many promises he couldn’t keep, one of them being that he wouldn’t go after women or people of color. But after his target Christian won safety via the Wildcard comp and saved Xavier, Frenchie’s options dwindled and he ostensibly went back on his word by nominating Kyland and Alyssa and turning virtually the entire house against him.
Was there a method to his madness?...

‘Big Brother 23’s’ Travis reveals how he tried to ‘totally torch’ Frenchie’s game in his final hours
The first elimination on any reality show is usually a forgettable affair, but Travis Long made sure everyone remembered his exit from “Big Brother 23” on Thursday. The tech sales consultant from Hawaii shamelessly took off his shirt and literally flexed as he delivered a good-natured eviction speech before being evicted 11-2 over Alyssa.
In an alternate universe, Travis would still be in the house if it weren’t for an unfortunate chain of events. Frenchie‘s original target Christian won safety via the Wildcard comp and also saved Xavier. Then Frenchie’s potential backdoor target Derek X. won Veto and took Kyland off the block, forcing Frenchie to renege on his first-night promise to Travis not to nominate him. To be fair, Frenchie was going to betray someone since he made about 394 promises of safety.
As Julie Chen Moonves revealed, prior to Thursday’s live eviction, Travis attempted to blow up Frenchie’s game.

Now that the head-scratching decisions have been made, the dubious song selections have been executed — literally, it’s sometimes seemed — and we’ve all heard the Welcome to Team Legend ditty about a bazillion times, Season 20 of The Voice has come down to the big question mark looming over the competition.
No, not “How are we going to survive on only one cycle of the NBC sing-off next year?” but “Which of the Final Five is going to win?” I think I can answer that question, too — correctly, even. (Somehow I managed to accurately prognosticate the victor in Seasons 19 and 18. Before that,...
