This game is another under the radar gem, it's also an honorable mention in favorite platform action games. Yeah, this game is another "Mega Man" clone but as I said before it doesn't matter to me as long as the game is fun and the execution is unique enough to stand on it's own right which it does; let alone the fact this is another game from one of my favorite video game companies "Natsume" known for their series of quality but under the radar gems.

This game is also another one of the really good licensed games in my book, as this game in Japan was actually though loosely based on a late 80's Super Sentai TV series called " Super Rescue Police Force: Solbrain" which was a hit for its time and surprising turning out a really good game. Though I'll admit for the American version which really didn't have much story, I always pretended the game was loosely based on the TV series "The Six Million Dollar Man" as the protagonist I played reminded me of Steve Austin.

Anyway, lets get down to business much like with "Mega Man" basically your task is the typical one of saving the city from an evil force and you have a selection of areas, how you want to finish them is up to you. The areas are all well designed as each of them are different, along with enemies and bosses also finely designed if nothing special in my book but they serve their purposes. The game's difficulty isn't too hard but not too easy either as there are some tricky spots in an area or two.

The two things your armed with are your fists and drone. I really like how this game makes having only your fists as your only primary weapon cool, the protagonist really packs a wallop as it's able to take down the biggest machines in the game. It's that sound the punches make is just awesome, it really makes you feel each hit you deliver carries an impact and is doing heavy damage.

One of the unique things about the game is how you have a fellow drone in the game, much like how DC character "Booster Gold" has his drown called Skeets. This drone you acquire by the combination of what looks like zodiac symbols, the combinations can be whatever you want them to be whether all the symbols are the same, two of them and one different, but the result will always be a certain type of drone. Like one will be a flame thrower, a laser disc dispenser, another armed and swinging a light saber, and plenty of others which you acquire and learn to use to your advantage.

Of course, to me one of my favorite things of all is the music in this game, this game has some of the best video game music tracks ever which is why their my favorites on my list. Most of all these tracks are the kinds I'd love to play when I workout as they almost sound like they could be workout tunes. Each of the tracks sound great as each just seem to signify action.

So, if you're into vintage platform action/licensed games or even a under the radar gem hunter that is looking for any in that genre, this game is worth a swing as it packs punch.
