Noted musician Sidhant Kapoor is releasing his latest single titled ‘Beparwah’, inspired by the spirited life of children from the slums, as depicted in the poem ‘Slum Children at Play’ by legendary writer Ruskin Bond. The verses touched Sidhant’s heart and inspired him to compose Beparwah as a song that celebrates the carefree nature of street children. The single released in a gala ceremony at the Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai in the presence of guest star Tabu and other eminent guests; Sidhant’s father actor-singer Ruhan Kapoor, Paul Marshal, Tejas Verma, Gunjan Sinha and Somansh Dangwal.

Global sports streaming service Dazn and leading Spanish broadcast group Movistar Plus have acquired the audiovisual rights to the country’s top soccer division, Laliga, from the 2022/23-2026/27 seasons at a total cost of €4.95 billion ($5.6 billion). The deal represents a slight increase – around €10 million ($11.30 million) or 1% per season – from the previous cycle. That number is a point of pride for La Liga, which says that it has managed to keep its audiovisual revenues steady at a time when many other major European leagues have peaked in valuation and are likely to decline in future rights cycles.
Under the joint deal, Movistar Plus and Dazn will each broadcast five games per matchday, with Movistar taking three full matchdays for themselves. Details about which matchdays will go exclusively to Movistar have not yet been shared, but it seems likely that the final week of the season will be one, as teams...

ViacomCBS’ Channel 5 has lost one of its biggest stars after the eponymous star of Cruising with Jane McDonald revealed that she was stepping away from the long-running travel show.
McDonald, whose show won Channel 5 its first ever BAFTA award in 2018, is leaving the series “to concentrate on music and exciting new projects”.
In addition to Cruising with Jane McDonald, which sees the singer travel the ocean on some of the world’s most luxurious ships, McDonald presented spin-off Holidaying with Jane McDonald.
It is a double blow for ViacomCBS’ UK network as the shows were produced in-house by Viacom International Studios.
“It’s been an incredible four and a half years of travelling, 38 Cruises and over 100 flights. It’s now time for me to spend some time in the UK, concentrate on my music and tours and exciting new projects. I want to offer my most sincere thanks to...
