Here we have "Hennessy X.O: Odyssey" and I am not sure I would call it a movie. The one thing this 2016 short film definitely is is a commercial. It runs for 100 seconds approximately and I assume it has its own imdb entry because of the inclusion of director Nicolas Winding Refn, the next big thing from Denmark for a while now already and maybe just as controversial as Lars von Trier. But this should not be the subject now. Lets take a look at this short. You can say it's quantity over quality and you would be correct if you look at the number of chapters this very short film includes. You could also say it is style over substance and you would be correct as well as honestly neither the visual side nor the audible site really makes an impact here to be honest. What stays in the end is a probably above-average expensive commercial for an exquisite brand. Or at least the letter is what they want us to believe and I assume it's not just a spoof or parody. By the way, kinda funny this was produced by Stink Studios (according to imdb) if it is really a perfume commercial. Could it all be true? In any case if you are a NWR completionist, then go see it, otherwise skip it and you won't be missing much. There is also no spoken language in here, so no matter where you are from you won't need subtitles if you want to check this one out. But honestly, there's too many better ways to spend two minutes and I think you should watch something else instead. Thumbs down.
