Warning: Spoilers
Was enjoying the episode for the most part until the end when both Murtaugh and Riggs are being shot at by gangs of white supremacists... So they have time to call each other, and their significant others, but neither, not even the next door neighbour trapped in Murtaugh's house, thought of actually calling their own police force for back up?

Not only that, but in an earlier phone call with his wife, Murtaugh couldn't tell her he needed to talk to her privately and tell her why he feels the need to stay behind to solve this present case? Instead, I had to endure more lame, stereotypical dialogue between them where she's mad because he hasn't gotten on his plane to join them. What, is he two? The writers have got to get out of this safe boring routine they've settled into with his character, it was cute for a while early on, but now it's just sad. Murtaugh has become so relentelssly a ridiculous man-child that for the past couple of episodes, I've just been fast forwarding through his scenes. I just can't hear anymore of his limited shtick routine. Writers, please let this man grow up soon. If you're trying to make a point that although Riggs's character is considered to be the "messed-up" one, that we all have our individual limitations that hold us back... dig deeper and find another way. Stop hitting us over the head with the lame crap that's already been done soooo many times before.
